WHICH DIET IS BETTER FOR FAT LOSS?
-
I think YOU would be the best judge of that being 232 @ 13%. Let us know.
-
Wouldn't diet 1 be higher in calories than diet 2?
Either way, if i had to pick one i would go number 1.

probably, yes.
-
I like diet one because it is simple. Takes all the guesswork out of it. Of course I would get sick of the same thing after a few weeks.
Are you making any good gains yet? Not sure what you are on.
-
I could be wrong on this but the 1st one looks like it has more protein. Guess it depends how much cottage cheese/yogurt you would be eating.
1st one looks simple. As long as you stay focused and are seeing results, the fact that you are eating the same thing over and over becomes an after thought.
-
Honestly, If it were me I'd choose neither but that's just me.
-
Fuck diets, just fast for a month and build back from there with muscle memory. :D ;D
-
the 30-50-20 works best. (p/c/f)
-
Here you go cut and dry fat loss plan:
Meal 1: Steak and Eggs
meal 2: Steak and Eggs
Meal 3: Steak and Eggs
In between each meal or every two hours take a handful of aminos or liver tabs
Every 3 to 4 days when you feel flat have a carb up meal like some sort of pasta
That's the old time precontest diet right there; Arnold used it, Larry Scott used it, and every Rich Gaspari used it.
-
meal one BUT:
add carbs to first 3 meals.
meal one alone will just make you lose weight, but a tad of fat, a lot of water and some muscle mass.

you wouldnt lose any muscle on that diet bro.
and you will lose a ton of water the first couple days of ANY diet.
you will lose way more fat on low/no carb than on low/no fat... theis is just plain and simple FACT
-
meal two looks tastier.

This sounds like a diet I'd be willing to try. 'Cause it's simple.

that would be a solid diet fosho, but only more frequent meals. three meals a day does nothing to speed up your metabolism. and that should be one of the goals of any diet.
also, adding in green veggies would speed up the fat burn
-
Im trying Palumbo's diet next time round.
-
I think YOU would be the best judge of that being 232 @ 13%. Let us know.
I agree, everyone's body responds differently, I personally do better on diets that include carbs versus very low/minimal carbs
Let us know what you choose and how it works out

i think carbs are very important, certain types at certain times
i am having great success with the following:
5.00am 30gm pro complex/water + 2 lipo 6
back to bed
6.00am workout(weight lifting 45 min with short rest 4 days per week)
7.00am 30gm whey/micellar with 2% milk + 30gm dextrose, 1 packet of maple oats + multi/500mg vit C/salmon oil tab/ 2 kreakyln tab
9.30am 1 cup fat free cottage cheese + 1 apple + almonds + dark chocolate(65% cacao) + salmon oil tab
11.45am tuna sandwich(light miracle whip) on whole grain(only 18gm carbs) fat free cheese + glass of 2% milk + vit C + salmon oil tab + 2 lipo 6
2.30pm 1 cup fat free cottage cheese + almonds + dark chocolate(65% cacao) + salmon oil tab
5.30-6pm 4-6oz of steak, fish, or chicken + huge serving of whole green beans in olive oil + multi/ vit C/ salmon oil
9-10pm 12 shrimp fried in olive oil OR 3 whole eggs OR casein shake + fish oil + zma + dark chocolate
*1 to 1.5 gallons of water
*that is done 7 days a week with Saturday and Sunday more carbs early in the day (whole grain pasta or rice)
*on non workout days there is no dextrose in morning shakes

i think it depends on the person. but for fa loss, i think the less carbs, the better, regardless of the person...for those with higher glucose demands, more protein, less fat, and some carbs pre workout...but for a guy like me, who has very little, if any at all, demand for carbohydrates...i dont need any in my diet when i am leaning out...maybe one carb meal every two or three days.

i agree, i think sometimes it depends on the person....i have taken myself into ketosis once, felt like a crazy good buzz when i entered(that's
the only reason i know i hit ketosis)....but later on i felt flat, tired, headaches, trouble thinking straight

that is correct. chris aceto is most often times WRONG.
explain to me why he is noted as a nutritional expert and has many books written on the topic of losing bodyfat and bodybuillding.
You're profound statement that basically Chris Aceto is flawed in his information is amazing.

yes they work great AND you can feel great while following them....very low/no carb make me feel crappy and it is counterproductive
with me

chris aceto is not an expert. lol. he has got just as much knowledge as anybody you could find on this board. he spouts basic nutritional info as if its some latest greatest thing and thinks he's the shit. also, he has some new "groundbreaking" development every month that you never hear about again.
the guy is a joke.
i agree carb cycling can be a great way to get lean, or stay lean while building muscle.

candidiot: you obviously should NOT be giving out nutritional info based solely on appearance. And I know plenty about nutrition myself....thats why i've been trying to give you somewhat of an education in it, cause your ideas are so far outta wack it's amazing.
Check out Championship Bodybuilding by Chris Aceto. It's a great book that you could learn from.

Which diet is better? That depends, if a person is carb sensitive then diet 1 would work better.
