How much did he charge you to interview him?

20 bucks bitch!

Do the sub titles properly reflect the "I am a douche" part?

Hi Lou. ;D
-
Hmmmm...I don't know who sounds more dumb, Lou or Marika.
-
I actually clicked on that......first thing I saw was a shot of a younger Lou. ::) Then, got as far as "find out how he overcame adversity" and closed the window.
Without reading it, I bet it's the same recycled bullshit we've heard before.

How much did he charge you to interview him?
20 bucks every time he looked at him.

If I didn't go into the movie business I think I could have won the Olympia six or seven times depending on how long I was hungry because I just knew that if I was serious about my training I could have held the title for as long as I wanted to.
Hahahahahaha ! Oh brother ;D

Thanks for posting,
but after reading brutally honest interviews like Nasser's...this is just boring, repetitive BS ::)
And on top of that, any interview with a pro that does not go into what it REALLY means to be a pro is just a waste of time...
I applaud the interviewer for TRYING to get him to talk about the drugs though:
"[ Q ] Clearly there is a big difference between the competitors of today and those of yesteryear. Obviously we have seen an improvement in training, nutrition and drugs. Do you feel the guys of today have added pressure to perform and to do well? Are they taking more risks in your view?"
lol...lou wasn't even gonna touch the drug issue ;D
overall...very boring :-X

LOL! Yeah. OK, Lou. ::)

Actually, with Arnold's retirement, he probably could and would have.

Well think about it for a second, Zane, Franco, Samir and Chris Dickerson won the O the years Lou would be at his peak.
Lou would crush Franco, hands down-that would be 2 Mr. "O" wins,
Lou had the potential to beat Zane-if he came in the condition he was in for the Hercules movie- that could be 1-3 more Mr. "O" wins
Lou would crush Dickerson-that would be another Mr. "O" win
Lou would probably beat Samir-another Mr. "O" win.
So that would be 5-7 Mr. "O" wins from 76-83.
Haney would have crushed Lou though. So after 83 Lou would have been history.
So I thinK Lou could have easily won ther "O" multiple times.

no fuccking way, he was nowhere near as good as Waller, Robby, Zane, Callender, Szkalak, etc.

hahahahhahahahaa, you're high as a kite if you think he would have beaten Robby Robinson.
-
With a couple more years detail, development, and maturity...and with Robby's penchant for coming into the O out of shape, it could have been a reality.

Can I assume there's no question about how badly one must need money to charge 8-year olds $20 for a photo? Or have one's wife run around the Expo saying "I'm Lou Ferrigno's wife. Can we have a box of your product?"

Does his wife actually do that???
-
didnt arnold himself say something along the lines that lou could've won multiple times?
-
I was thinking that as well when I read the Lou Ferringo interview.Lou wining the Olympia six or seven times what fat load of bull shit.I wonder how much Lou charged bodybuilding.com to interview the jerk.
-
I did not like the Waller looked at all. He just did not impress me and I used to hang around him once in awhile. I have told a couple good stories about Kenny but I never liked the way he looked. Nothing stuck out on him. I think Lou would have done very well if he stuck with it. He had the size and he was young. Robby was awesome but I don't think Weider would have had him winning the big one. Roy Callendar was unreal in size. One thick dude in person. his arms were awesome but sure about Olympia. Kal looked great to. He was very funny in the gym. He would go around the gym with a small pad of paper and pencil and try to draw the equipment in the gym and was going to make his own. When Joe would walk by he would hide it.

Don't forget that Lou sued his own brother over some fitness equipment company name....
-
Does Lou have a website or P.O. box so i can send him my $20?

I heard he was adopted so it doesn't count ;D

I never saw Waller in person but didn't get impressed by him in PI or in the mags either. Thought he'd be more impressive in person, but I guess not. Thought Katz was much bigger than him.

It's interesting that Lou sidestepped the question about Lurie. Didn't Dan Lurie mentor him before Weider snatched him? If Robson had asked some off-the-wall questions designed to catch Lou off guard this interview would have been interesting. Instead the standard BB interview questions were asked - C'mon Robson turn up the heat. Why don't you throw nassers book in the trash and start one on Lou?. That would sell much better than anything nasser ever put out.

No biggie. I've done it too. ;D

Amazes me that anyone would actually pay for his autograph ??? ::)

Amazes me that he compares himself to the caliber of Tom Cruise and Arnold Schwarzenegger as an excuse for his fee for an autograph. ::)
-
Lou really showed good humility there, I was surprised.
The 94 video looks off as the background is from the 93 O!
-
I've sat and watched people ask Lou for a photo op or autograph quite a bit and about half the time the person walks away in disgust. The other half are so caught off-guard by his request for cash that they begin stuttering and fumbling for their wallets so as not to be "embarrassed" that they can't "afford" a photo with a man whose Q-rating has been surpassed by Derek Anthony and Gregg Valentino -- two guys who would NEVER charge for a photo.

epic backround noise and not being able to hear a fuccking thing. ::)

and not being able to hear a fuccking thing. ::)
thats what lou said too.
-
Lou is a little 'touched' IMO
-
[Q] Tell me about your relationship with Joe Weider. Have you kept in contact with him?
"Well, Joe is like the father I never had."
Ouch. :-X

Lou is being honest there, Joe used to feel him up and abuse him in a much better way than Matty had done previously.
-
In all seriousness--did Matty abuse Lou? Looking at Pumping Iron, he was obviously domineering, but was there more to it?
-

Holy fucking shit that was funny.

hahahahhahahahaa, you're high as a kite if you think he would have beaten Robby Robinson.
I don't think he would have "beaten" Robby. Zane didn't "beat" Robby either.
Franco Didn't "beat" Padilla & Platz.
Jay didn't "beat" Martinez or Wolf.
Lou would have won multibpe Olympias because he was next in line to be Weider's poster boy.
Lou is an ass, but the fact remains that at his peak, with Weider running the show, Lou would have been a multiple O winner.
-
Arnold states that Lou would have been unbeatable if he trained the way Arnold did:
&feature=related
BTW, check out Lou's garden hose veins in his biceps at 1 minute and change. Put Ronnie to shame and Lou had one of the best chest's of ALL TIME. FACT.
