George Washington, in his closing speech, pleaded with Americans not to have political parties.

To at least 2/3's of the dipshits out there, political parties are like their hometown foolball teams, it's always  "my team is better!"  "no, my team is better!"  "Your quarterback sucks!"  "Your kicker couldn't hit a field goal if he kicked from the 10".   That's seriously the mental level of most so-called political debate these days.  They don't even understand the issues, they just wanna root for "their team".
