My prediction is that he will die in a house fire, his papers and all evidence of this amazing invention will
go up in flames with him.

Brilliant!  There are all sorts of unique innovative inventions out there.
We have a guy here in Ontario that figured out how to run his car off old newspapers.
One day someone will start implementing the best of these inventions, cuase we just can't keep going the way we've been going on fossil fuels. The transition has to be a smooth one though.

Interesting - but how much energy does it take to generate the radio waves to release the oxygen ?

Bravo, terrific reply!

I'm so hurt by your response that I am considering harming myself.

since you r in IT i'm pretty sure your boss and co rowkers r brown and muslim...

since all muslims r experts at beheadings just ask them...hell they'll earn themself 70 virgins and increase the global IQ at the same time!  :)

You're obviously unaware of my genius. If I was to die the entire World would run into a terrible fate ;)

They're not muslim, but some are shades of brown. What shade of brown should I be looking for?

I thought you was referring to the software engineer scene, where you will find there are a lot of Indians, very few muslims.

about 50% of my classes r african muslims..
the rest is a mix of white (usually govt..dod..fbi...usda right now..etc)

You're a software engineer?

If not, how is this relevant?

Your place is obviously very different to CA where all I see is Chinese, Indian and Caucasians.

Sounds like you teach in the ghetto. FBI are probably there to keep tabs on your class of 50% African muslims.

1) There r lots of muslims in india shit for brains

http://www.geocities.com/a_habib/India/pop.html
Total Indian Population in 1991 = 816 million
Indian Muslim Population in 1991 = 101 million (12.1% of total)
% Increase in Total Population since 1981 = 23.8
% Increase in Muslim Population since 1981 = 32.8
(Source: Census of India 1991, Series-1, Paper 1 of 1995, Religion. These figures do not take into account the state of Jammu & Kashmir, since the 1991 Census could not be conducted there.)

2)  maybe they r keeping tabs on muslims ooooo or maybe they r getting sent to...overseas..

3)  ooo i teach cisco classes in the ghetto!  :-\

Well they have Hindu names, but I guess you're closer to my own peers that I am ::)

The value of a CISCO cert is roughly equal to that of 1/8 of a piece of used toilette paper or twice the value of a "Microsoft Office Specialist" certification.

If a CISCO cert was a form of currency, its value would be less than zero.

This guy started his little thing with with wife's pie pans...  I too would like to know what the energy input is and they failed to mention that.  But who knows, it's an interesting direction for sure.  Maybe there's just the right efficiency frequency?  Still looks like something worth further experimentation.  In the end, I posted it mainly because it's kinda neato and does make one wonder of the possibilities--that is all...

another thing that's interesting is that with other means of electrolysis you get this bubbles that raise to the top and when someone lights it, it just kind of pops the bubbles with a bang.  No constant flame.  for this to produce a constant production that supports a flame is kinda cool.

This just reminds me of the electrolysis experiments we did in college.

The laws of electrolysis state you mass exchange is almost identical minus some e-'s

I guess it's a neat form of electrolysis, because normally the anode/cathodes decay rapidly thus requiring expensive metals like gold.

Great story.  Sounds like a terrific person.  How awesome would it be to put the oil cartel out of business?   :)

You don't need expensive metals, I've seen some people do it with a fairly small amount of electricity and two spatulas.  But this is cool for the reason you stated, we do need to know what the power input is.  I also really wonder about these laws of electrolysis from highschool...  I have seen guys hook up electrolysis units the size of a coffee can or smaller in their old clunkers, place a tank of water in the trunk and feed the gas right into their combustion mix with good results.  They were still running gas but got a very real increase in the mpg unlike some myths we hear about.  The problem is that the hydrogen/oxygen brown gas will eventually really fuck your engine, so IMO it's really only good to play with on a junker.  Now there are engines that are built to take hydrogen but they are expensive.  there are also places that say they will convert your engine to burn hydrogen but that is expensive.  Plus with this type of setup I speak of, I guess there is a huge compression problem to deal with so you can't just run the brown gas alone unless you want to putter around on 25 horse power :D  Anyway, to make my point/query, the electrolysis production worked very well just off of the car battery/alternator. The unit is very cheap to make or buy for anyone who has a junker they feel like dinking around with.

Ultimately, the power for transportation will come from electricity, whether it be directly from electric batteries (tesla motors, chevy volt, etc) or from hydrogen produced by electric hydrolysis.  Either way it takes oil out of the equation, which eliminates the threats to our economy and security.

The electricity can then be produced either the way it is now (combo of coal (50%), Natural Gas (25%), Nuclear (19%) and other (Hydro, renewables)),  or we can move to where I think we'll ultimately be, which is a combo of nuclear for primary power demands, hydro where it exists now, and rooftop-mounted solar for residential and supplemental.

Do you think the hydrogen explosion would be less than the fuel/air explosion......relating to compression??
