Title: The movie "21"
Post by: thisiskeith12 on March 26, 2008, 02:05:00 PM
Going to be a great film! Based on the book "Bringing Down the House" by Ben Mezrich. A true story about some MIT students who figured a certain math formula to counting cards and beat the system. In turn they win millions and spend it.

One thing to know about Vegas....

Those fuckers do not like to lose. The comps are given to you when your winning because the odds are that the longer you play, you'll give it all back. Especially for high rollers.

The scene in 'Rain Man' when Hoffman and Cruise were piling up cash at blackjack and told to take their winnings and leave Vegas was very accurate.

It's no surprise that the city can afford to constantly rebuild and upgrade. Vegas always wins in some form or another.

But a hell of a lot fun, nevertheless. Got some wild ass stories, man!
