Many times I have read that garlic does wonders; boosts the immune system, promotes cardiovascular health, etc....
How true is this? Has this been confirmed universally in the scientific community?

or how about thick crusted, under cooked, cheesy, meat lovers pizza with extra sauce and gooey dough with TONS of garlic on top????

Garlic is good for the above mentioned benefits, too much could thin your blood.

My family has always used garlic in many dishes so I'm accustomed to having it a few times a week and we were always told it was good for us.

I don't consume garlic anymore, but one thing is for sure...eat enough of it and you'll have a hard time getting a date. Not only will the stench come out of your breath for a while, but also out of your pores. I've heard of a trick: putting garlic in the freezer, then thawing it before eating. This seems to take care of the stench problem, but I've never tried it.

yes allicin in garlic has been confirmed to have many beneficial properties in dyslipedemia,clotting issues, immune function, as a pre-biotic etc.
its good stuff eat up. Tumeric and cumin are also spices that are hugely beneficial to health
