There must be something to be said for the way boxers train, i know alot have to stay in weight classes, but super heavies like mike hwo can get as big as is practical are all huge.

Maybe doing press ups/pull ups all day and speed ball work really does build up the shoulders chet and back pretty well.

I would have included Randy Couture in the top 10.  He fought through a broken arm in the Gonzaga fight, even punching with the arm that Gonzaga broke with a head kick.

okay it is a list of current athletes not all time, so hence no iron mike.

as for chabal already addressed.  The guy is a pussy for his size and if you actually followed rugby instead of gay worshipped him with pic whore threads you would understand this.  No you tube isn't watching an actual game.

Tiger is an athlete because golf is a sport.  Just because a sport isn't highly physically demanding doesn't make it not a sport.  Cricket isn't highly demanding if all you do is bat and feild, it's more mental.  Same with baseball getting pitched to 3-4 times a night then playing out feild isn't exactly overly demanding in most cases.  Yet they are still sports and tiger is still an athlete that dominates like no other.

you have never played golf at high level before, that much is obvious.

there IS A DIFFERENCE between the way your grandpa plays golf, and the way a ATHLETE like tiger woods plays golf.

tigers golf swing is an ATHLETIC MOVEMENT.

if tigers not an athlete, then no DH ini the major leagues is either.

no thats wrong. BUT it dos take alot of physical strength, coordination, and athletic abillity to be able to play the game the way tiger does.

ANYBODY can "play golf".

very few people can PLAY GOLF

I dont think so. Yes he is a machine on the course, but its just golf at the end of the day. He doesnt hit the ball twice as hard as everyone else, he just has better skills than other golfers.

Hell look at John Daly, hes a great golfer, not as good as Tiger, but still great. You gonna say he is a great athlete and has great athletic ability?

i agree bro! bout the only aspect of athletic ability that golf takes is hand-eye coordination, if that really is an aspect of athletic ability? in fact, billiards and darts also take hand-eye coordination 8)

Golf, imo, falls into the same category as games like billards, pool, darts etc. Not sports, games.

Yeah but don't forget about all the fights that he either A. quit in the middle of (Holyfield, McBride) B. Created a post fight controversy after getting ktfo by a guy who would soon there after balloon up to 400lbs and nearly die in a diabetic coma (Buster Douglas) C. Get knocked out by a bum named Danny Williams D. Cry like a bully that just got served, after doing nothing but talk shit about his opponent (Lennox Lewis) E. Use dirty tactics cause he didn't have the mental toughness in the ring like all GREAT heavyweights do (Botha).
Yeah real "tough"  ::)
Just cause a guy has muscles and acts crazy, that does not make him tough.

Finally, a non Tyson jockrider.  I love the job Tyson did on Tony Tucker, Mitch Green.  His big wins?  Razor Ruddock, Tyrell Biggs, Trevor Berbick, a washed up Larry Holmes.  Couldn't beat Buster, lost twice to Holyfield, gets Pawned by Lennox, after making a circus sideshow of the event.  Whenever he was pushed, he crumbled, hard to call that tough.  That video of Fedor, he comes right back and kimura's Randleman.  Fedor was also rocked by Ironhead Fujita, while punch drunk counters with a left hook, takes his back and chokes him out.  That is tough.

theres plenty tough athletes, youve got to include some of the crazy mexican boxers, whol'l stand toe to toe for 12 rounds... no ducking, no cuddling on the floor,, toe to toe, thats tough....

actually your wrong, scotland also invented  the highland games, curling, drinking, and mma ( we call it doing a cvnt in) also football ( the real football, not the fake shit you play) is rumoured to have been invented by us too. although its widely accepted the english invented it.
