Those are some ugly handles.  What color are your cabinets?

Thanks for asking.  I did it all black and white.  The cabs are white, the counter is black fake marble.

Then after that I decided to go all colourful.  I could add some pink washing up liquid.

Do you agree with me that eBay is tons of fun?

LOL Linda  :D :D :D
Yes they should have been silver and I dont think the earings are a better buy, maybe you can make the handels the earings.

My brother actually makes his living of eBay wheeling and dealing in military badges, medals and uniforms.

can I have his ebay address?  I have a few (old dead peoples) badges and medals. Unfortunately we forgot to save my Grandad's Liverpool kit, that would've been worth tons.  I have his signing on papers, he got £10...

I have an old pin, black and white and red:  Nixon/Agnew.  What's that worth?

please tell your bro to email me at niceblokesonly@yahoo.co.uk?

Linda,

Why did the delete your thread?

I can't actually delete a thread, I don't know how to, I can only rename it.
which one?  the one about eating?  I had soup & half a loaf yesterday yum.
I wouldn't expect anyone to use that kitchen, it's a dog's dinner, there's a flood under the new counter.  I tried to explain to them that it's Victorian plumbing with a 70s conversion, but they came in and did a re-fit on top of that...

Next I need a proper meal and a full-on workout.

(and no, thanks for not asking, my bowels are fine...

I've had the builders in for what seems like six months.  It's in fact been more than that because they had to do the bathroom first.  Last week they showed up and did a bit of mastic for 20 minutes and then wanted to install the handles and asked where they were.  I said they were in the post.  Maybe they don't get paid until they do the final fittings?  Haven't a clue, I live in social housing (your tax money at work) and have waited 7 years for this new kitchen, so if I want groovy new green handles with bubbles in them, I think I deserve them.
