yo guys...
if nolva and clomid are estrogen blockers....which means that they dont halt the conversion of test into estrogen, but rather, they just render that converted hormone useless
and
if arimidex, letrozole, ect are anti aromatase...which means that they stop testosterone from being converted into estrogen
THEN
both kinds of drugs take away any benefit estrogen might give you
BUT
if one (the anti aromatase) does so by stopping the production of estrogen FROM TESTOSTERONE.... the, the enhanced bodybuilder who is using nolva has LESS testosterone then the one using armidex(letrozole..ect)...but both have no benefit of estrogen
SO
doesnt it make sense that while on cycle, if your going to use something for estrogen, your much better off using an anti aromatase, as opposed to an estorgen blocker ????

and oh yeah...since dht provides no benefit to the bodybuilder injecting testosterone, and since when you cut off the 5a reductase enzyme you get MORE testosterone(less is being converted to nasty dht)
doesnt this mean the 5a reductase inhibitors(finasteride) are100% good to go while on cycle???
why dont more people use them?
am i missing something???

what is the idea to ask questions and answer them by yourself with your google's copy paste knowledge? Ive been googling some of your "knowledge" and its usually the same i read in many sites ::)

DHT is a very important hormone. I wouldn't ever take a DHT blocker if I didn't have a serious need. It's even known to sometimes cause permanent libido loss, even after discontinuing the drug. I have seen support groups on the net for this problem.

lewellyn makes a small mention of loss of libido, but he says that its a very small percentage and that it goes away immidietly after discontinuing use....

Are you talking about finasteride and dutasteride? Would you include saw palmetto and serenoa as being risky too? I was considering adding something to the next cycle to protect the hair, but that's some scary shit.

Van B and Rimbaud aren't big fans, AJ has consistently said he doesn't bother with it, and my thread on Steroidology got no love either. Sounds like a bust. Have you used it with success Guapo?

I have never used it. But Im planning on it once i get a couple other things together.

What convinced you to include it?

I'm not saying it would hurt to include it just that I doubt any results you get from it are due to lowered SHBG. If you were taking HRT doses then maybe the SHBG level would be relevant. But when I read about someone taking a couple of grams of different steroids and then adds Proviron I sort of doubt any perceived effect is due to lower SHBG.
I don't think it hurts to try it, it's not too toxic. If it helps in some way then great.

I'm not saying the side effects are very common. Just that I wouldn't take it "just because", as a preventative measure or to try increase test levels.
Here's a forum discussing it:
http://www.propeciahelp.com/forum/
Dr John Crisler (SWALE), an HRT doc, has discussed finasteride on different steroid forums. He's not a fan.

I just want to try it. I'm not the type that does or doesn't do something because of what people say on the boards. Ive heard good and bad and I want to see how I react to it.
