Title: Would you even bother lifting if...
Post by: Special Ed on April 12, 2008, 03:03:55 PM
...there was a pill you could take that would give you your ideal physique without any training?

In other words, do you lift as a means to an end physique/size-wise or as a way of blowing off steam or stress relief or socialization?

Ditto that.

I'd do both.

I love training, though. It is the best stress-reliever I have ever engaged in.

I'd still train. I don't do it to look "hot" or "sexy", or for "women". I do it cause for some reason,I enjoy torture....anything else is just a bonus.

I agree with you here to a certain extent. i would still train even if such a miraculous pill existed. I suppose that I used to train with the primary focus of getting more sluts. However, who gives a toss what the sluts think anyway, hence I just train for myself.

Hell naw. It's the thrill of lifting that drives me. The muscles are just an added bonus. And the learned discipline and health knowledge is another bonus.

To be honest, I don't know why anyone natural would want to compete.....Sure they look great in everyday life to the average joe but onstage most natural competitors look puny.

I would still train. Also, I need more info. What are the side effects of this pill? Do you keep your gains if you have to go off? If you want muscles without training, here's what you do. Go get Pec, and calf implants. Then shoot synthol into your bi's, tri's delts and lats. Oh wait... some schmucks already do that!

I still would. Training has become an important hobby to me. It has taught me drive, focus, determination and discipline.
