This what kids were jamming to on Sesame Street back in the day...they don't make kid shows like this anymore. Look at the kids jamming on the stairs.

One of the BIGGEST problems in the black world...  It used to be that black kids could look up to GENIUSES like stevie wonder, james brown, jimi hendrix, miles davis, marvin gaye, ike turner (ehh... before the beatings and drugs), ray charles, john coltrane etc... all of whom wrote, spoke and sang about drugs, violence, social stigma, social rights, war, peace and love.  they all played instruments, they all sang or performed wonderfuly. 

Now who do they look up to?  Oh thats right, worthless fucks who don't do anything but grunt about doing drugs, guns and bitches.

Sesame street still has celebrities.  Norah jones for example.
