There is no purpose. Purpose or 'why' is an invented and contrived question. The best questions start with 'how', not 'why'. The question: why are we here has no answer or it has an answer and that answer is for no particular reason; thus the millions of creeds, faiths, gods and utter jabberwocky of ideas that man invents so as to find meaning for himself in an indifferent, purposeless universe.
Stella, to this day I am puzzled why you post these questions. You are a fundamentalist believer so I ask myself in what way you could possibly profit from posting such questions?

Yes. But that's a question of definition.

The only purpose there can be in life is to find our true self. If we can find that, we will know where it comes from.

I absolutely believe we all have a purpose in life. Through cause and effect, action and reaction. I think we are all in Gods master plan even nonbelievers because of the difference they can have on someones life for good of bad. If you believe in the 3 degrees of separation theory that is.

I believe nothing happens by chance; we all have an appointed time to accomplish that which we were created for and in time every life will serve it's purpose/s.
God has a purpose for every creature and a time in which it will be carried out! When the purpose is fulfilled we die.

You believe that everything in the universe, on earth, all humanity conforms to the Bible; essentially that everything in existence is subordinate to its contents.

I think it's interesting that he draws that conclusion.
Does he say why he believes "we" are the ones that are alive and not these other people he thinks are better? Does he think that it's all chance or that there is any reason that us ordinary people are here instead?
Also, this is not a flame at all only a question..... has he ever stated that he has used mind altering substances when he writes?

He doesn't say why because he realises that 'why' questions are artificial and contrived. Genuinely answerable questions begin with 'how'. How did wwe get here? That is an interesting question and one that can be answered in a reasonable manner. The problem with humans is that we attribute motive and purpose to the external universe in much the same way we do to our own lives, the total lack thereof notwithstanding; in essence it is a false analogy.
Your last question is baffling. Why on earth would you ask that?

This mindset is totally illogical.
I can make choices which control my life. I can pick a job where death is very unlikely or vice versa.
The only truth is that the survival rate of any person drops to zero at some point in their life.

I may be wrong but I think Hustle Man is saying you have no control over when you will die (maybe unless you commit suicide or something).
Even if you work in a plastic bubble surrounded with marshmallows you could have a massive heart attack and die.

What I mean is God determines the when, where, why and how we live and die.
There is a time appointed for every action.

I don't think he's a nihilist. Just b/c someone denies a purpose to life in the teleological sense doesn't mean that some meaning cannot be found/discovered or manufactured.
