Yeah, who cares about the Constitution, America's crumbling economy, the 9 trillion dollar debt, or individual liberty?

So long as the government provides more hand out programs to placate the masses Americans will tune out the real world and tune into American Idol.

Don't worry, Benny, you'll get your Peoples Republic of America.

So your rebuttal is to point out his small number of delegates? That's it?

And how does that make his message any less valid?

And that's still the only rebuttal you have.  :-\

What flavor is the Obama-Aid you're drinking? Red or purple flavor?

I'm sure he's crushed now.

I'm sure he's crushed now.

Probably not. I'm sure the insulated bubble he lives in is pretty durable and can withstand the slings and arrows of common sense and anti-socialist criticism.

maybe it's not the bubble, but the general incompetence of the archers/slingers.

Thanks for the tip though, mighty Calmus. I'll work on my aim.  ;D

It's funny that everytime I post something about Ron Paul, calmus and Benny are always there to throw in their two cents on a person they think is completly irrelevant. I think it's safe to say they are just closet Ron Paul supporters that fight their true feelings and lash out in  frustrated confusion. ;D

I like Ron Paul a lot but most Americans are too stupid/uneducated/ignorant/apathetic/small minded to pay attention to his ideas. Most Americans just want to sit back on their couches and absorb mindnumbing daytime television, hypnotised by American idol, Reality TV and all the other rubbish that pollutes the airways. As long as they have their SUVs, their big suburban houses and their greasy fast food, Americans are content to let things run their course. Most Americans can't even locate Iraq on a map, don't understand anything about inflation, have no interest in these things and never will. Most Americans are just dumb as rocks and that is why the Washington Machine will continue until it runs out of power/petrol. You want Americans to pay attention? Reenact the draft; when people are being forced to fight in senseless wars and to throw away their lives for irrelevant causes, then you will see protest and interest; until that day, this is just interesting stuff to post on an internet board but has no place in public discourse as we know and recognise it.

I don't think they like him at all. I think they feel threatened by his message and, like the MSM, try to marginalize him or portray him as outdated and crazy.

It cracks me up that men like Ron Paul are able to unite the drones on the far left and far right.

Ron Paul was way ahead of his time, I guess.    Most will say he was right someday.

He sure is making the rounds at the University's the last few months though. He's talked to 1, 2, 3 thousend students at these events. In Texas there were over 4000. The newer generations want to hear what he's got to say, there's hope there.

No challenge to my statement about dumb Americans? ;)
