Hey guys just a question thats on my mind I've read some threads about guys saying people like arnold and co are hyper responders to juice my question is if your a hyper responder are you the type of person who responds and gets better gains then most doing natural training or can you be a hard gainer naturaly start a cycle and BOOM just blow out more so then the guy who finds it easy getting results naturaly hope that makes senses cheers.
-
i think you are correct.
BUT
i also think that the term "hard gainer" is a mis conception... i think most guys that "cant getbig" simply dont have the appetite to feeed their bodies enough nutrients to grow, and/or they simply dont realize how intensely you have to train to really make your body desire growth.
in my opinion, the human body does not vary that greatly in its ability to grow form one person to another. what does vary, and agin this is just my opinion, is each bodys ability to stay lean while it grows, and to hold muscle mass at a low body fat %. most every body can get big...certain people stay lean while they are getting bigg, certain guys might get fat wjhile growing big, but when they diet down they can hold onto the muscle mass. certain guys, and this is myself, will get fat while they grow, but when they try to diet that fat off, they will lose some muscle.
that is just my opinion.
but gear changes all of that considerably..
and as to people being more responsive to gear than others.. yes, in my opinion this does occur, BUT, i think most people respond pretty similar to steroids...the fluctuations you see are a result of A) one guy using legit aas, the other guy using underdosed ug aas.. B) differenecesin diet (high protien, high calories..) C) BELIEVING in the fact that you are capable of growing just as fast as anyone else is.
kai green was talking about this on the "in the trenches" vid on MD.. about how you have got to believe... i think thats a huge factor.. the minds a powerful thing
again, all of this is just the thoughts of a newB aas user who has too much time on his hands and reads and thinks too much. ;D
-
I know a few guys who really don't respond at all to gear. The type of guy you have to ask if he's on a cycle right now cause the signs aren't there. Almost no results and no side effects either (not even the steroid bloat by which you can pick out the juicer). When they attempt to overfeed to gain it all goes on the waist, even on gear. Billy Guns is a good example of this type of user.

Its also the shape of many people's muscles. Some guys only need to gain a small amount of weight, and their shape just makes them look bigger. Rounder muscle bellies yada yada.
-
So I think you guys are saying that you can either be a hard gainer or someone who finds it easy to bulk up naturally either one of theese people can be a hyper responder to gear, I thought that someone who finds it easy to bulk naturally would more likely be a hyper responder I don't know why just thought that would be the case.
-
I don't care who you are, hardgainer or not. If your gear is real and if you have the slightest bit of training and nutritional knowledge, you will make gains on cycle.
The problem is not people don't respond to gear, it's many times people have crap gear, bad training and nutrition principles or both.

arnold has got the knowledge !!

Ok I don't think Im going to get a straight answer from this question.

Exactly.
Now, some will respond better then others but that's just a little bit of genetics. Dbol tends to make me sluggish & bloated & I've got a friend who will take the same ammount & get none of the sides.
-

Yes, there are people who will always respond better then others to gear & other drugs.

Not entirely disagreeing but what do you think of a guy like Billy Guns, what's he doing wrong? I'm sure he made "gains" but IMO no matter how much he would take or how much he would overfeed and no matter how hard he would train he would have a hard time putting on much more LBM. That's the type of person you hardly can tell is taking hormones. These guys reach the ceiling very quickly.
-
Ok I don't think Im going to get a straight answer from this question.
I've seen guys with very good natural builds who once they started gear were very disappointed, they didn't explode like they thought they would. I think it can go either way, someone may not grow for shit as a natural but transform dramatically when they go on. And vice versa.
-
AHHH thanks that was the answer to my question.
-
AHHH thanks that was the answer to my question.
It seems like the answer you wanted to hear In my opinion..... ;)
So which one are you....the hard gainer or the natural beast?

See my above response.
Now I'm not knocking Billy at all...I don't' know much about Billy other then he gets a lot of shit on this board. I don't know where he started.

I trained and competed naturally for over 12 years. When I was natural, people thought I juiced anyway....I grew very well naturally until I turned 35 and my test dropped dramatically after my last natural contest. Went on HRT and did not blow up but was considerable noticable in appearance.
When I took my gear use into my own hands, I grew very well on very modest dosages and still have not used gh or slin to this day. I would not call myself a "hyper responder" but I am about 25 + lbs bigger than when I was natty and never taken no more than 2 compounds per cycle.
Hope that helps :-\
-
No it really had nothing at all to do with me at all it was just something that came to me last nite and I wonderd who would benifit more from a cycle I have no intension at all of starting a cycle. But to answer you question I find it easy to put on mass but Im only 5'5 so its not that hard to fill out a small frame but I do respond quickly to weight training.
-
i know a guy who competed naturally and placed in the cal as a natural in is young 20's. he crushed the competition of juicers as a natural (this was back in the late 80's early 90's ( i have seen the pics) ), but when he started juicing in his 20's, he just didnt respond the way some guys o...and he went from a FANTASTIC natural physique, to just an average juicer physique..
then you look at a guy like phil heath.. 4 years ago this guy is a 170 lb skinnny as a rail basketball player, when he hops on the juice he blows up and in 4 years time the guys wins the iron man and gets a close second at the arnold

Give me a fuckin break, this is word for word what the typical writer from MI ,MD and Flex pisses out each month and is not his experiance,he has no experiance and is a 17yo wanabe.
He needs to take a backseat and learn plus shut the fuck up.

Ones genes define EVERYTHING, that said with enough hard work and decent food ANYONE can getbig and strong. If you have the genes to grow easily, but to put on fat also (like i do) you can diet it off, but just have to work a little harder. Also many people say that they don't have the appetite to eat like they should, well you can allways eat more smaller meals and use stuff like weight gain powders.
Most of the time people are just ignorant and too lazy, they want the drugs to do everything for them. I have many close friends that use or have used AAS and allmost none of them were happy with the results.
That's because they expected too much too fast and were not willing to "put in the time" and also did not want to sacrifice anything as in skip a weekend of partying or so on. Charles Glass said that: "you should get close to your natural limitations, before starting to use AAS and when you finally start to use them, you should take the least amount needed to get the job done." These days allmost NO ONE does that, guys get on the juice without ever squatting or after a year of training.
That quote was not word for word, but you got the idea (yes it was from a magazine MD). Then i know guys that want to use gear, but are so afraid about the sides that they use some weird OTC stuff or use doses so low that no one could grow on it. As far as Arnold and the legends, they did not use stuff like SLIN, IGF-1 etc, but were able to make insane gains, that is because they, putted in the time.
And to answer your question, guys that grew bigger naturally, usually grow bigger on gear too. I know it is hard to except, but not everyone is meant to be very big, (and i love it, ha ha haa)...
About the genes, Lance Armstrong was an exceptional athlete, yet he probably could not grow to the size of a pro BB in any case, he's genes are different than say Cutlers, but still he made a living of being an professional athlete.

Heh heh...
Well unfortunately we haven't worked in the same shift after that and i didn't think that it would be a great idea to dig up her phone number, so i decided to waite until we work in the same shift together and then i'll ask her out...
If it seems that it will take a long time before we will work together, i'll figure out something else, but i will definitely ask her out.
PS. I know that this belongs to the locker room, but i'm feeling too lazy to post this there.
