Title: Obama’s Lead in National Poll Shrinks Following Debate
Post by: headhuntersix on April 18, 2008, 01:18:44 PM
A new national poll shows Barack Obama’s once-healthy lead shrinking to a hair’s width, suggesting his defensive performance at the Wednesday debate in Philadelphia may have hurt him.

The fresh numbers come as Hillary Clinton calls on Obama to quit whining about his supposed unfair treatment at the debate. Her campaign already has claimed Obama is trying to cover up an “awful performance” by saying he was hammered with petty political questions

correct.

many of those folks have voted already, or are republicans who giggle and say 'hilary' just to fck up the pollsters.

Obama is a question mark, has a spiritual adviser who says bad things you can't argue factually but are politically incorrect, he won't wear a flag pin, etc... but he's still edging out hilary.

I just don't see McCain losing this election.

The debates will decide all.

IMO, Mccain wasn't strong enough to beat romney or rudy - they destroyed each other and no longer looked presidential.  thompson self-destructed.  huck was weird.  Mccain got the job by showing up, keeping his head down while the others played the fool, and won by default.

If obama emerges, it'll be after the biggest nomination fight in almost 50 years.

Hil had her shot....and yes I realize those polls mean nothing in Penn...but in the National they mean something. I don't understand how a group as politically tough and savy  as the Clinton's don't bury this guy.

i couldn't stand clinton... but... he didn't start 2 big wars he couldn't win, and he didn't spend 5 trillion dollars of debt.

of course, he got a blowjob and was a phony, so he's worse...
