LOL, you're probably right.. He's also been able to pick up Madden 08 and a PS3
-
Looking forward to hearing how Dex has spent his winnings so far on the 08 season?
I hope for his sake that he is spending it on his Olympia prep. This is the best shot that Dexter will have to win if Victor cant be in the show. Cutler, Dexter or Wolf?

Don't forget Heath

Bob: Hey Dexter buddy, welcome to the show!
Dexter: Thank you, I'm happy to be here
*30 minutes later*
Dexter: Blah blah blah and yeh man, thats how i'm gonna become Mr Olympia
Bob: ZZZZZZZZzzzzzz
-
Bob and Dan PAY for their guests. Literally. So does MD. saps. hahahahahaha. saps.
They also try to pay or bribe guests not to do other shows. saps.
-
Last week, PBW sounded more like bodybuilding.com radio after we found out that Romanowski has a new supplement line coming out and will be selling it on bodybuilding.com. It seemed like an odd choice of guest, but it all made sense when we found out he had something to sell.
-
Don't forget Heath
This is the last year that Dexter will beat Heath. Heath and Wolf are coming fast. Next year its out with the old and in with the new guard. The old guys better be putting the $ in the bank.

That and the fact ROMO was one of the first football players to take weights to a new level...
One of our better guests I might add....a little something for everyone.

I agree. The guys that aren't directly bbs make some of the best guests because they have something often missing from pro bb....a personality. The Triple H is right up there with the Victor Martinez and Lee Priest ones in my eyes.
-
Lets here what Dexter really has to say about his chance of beating Jay Cutler - and Dexter shouldnt hold back...
-
Bob says Jay is in his best off-season condition in years.
-
Dexter:
I knew what I was doing in australia....
Toney, melvin, they didn't know what to do.
I was like the godfather to these guys.
I was the coach, they were copying what I did.

where are you going with this?
-
He claims it will be his last Olympia if he doesn't win.
-
What did he weigh at the Arnold?
-
didn't he mean he's gonna get up to 250 OFFSEASON? i don't think there's any way on earth he could be 250 ONSTAGE.
-
didn't he mean he's gonna get up to 250 OFFSEASON? i don't think there's any way on earth he could be 250 ONSTAGE.
Exactly. Get your facts straight PBW water boy.
-
He said he was 245 at his last show (Aussie?) and that his trainer said he'll be 5 pounds bigger at the O.
Cutler is on the show now, playing nice with Dex.
-
didn't he mean he's gonna get up to 250 OFFSEASON? i don't think there's any way on earth he could be 250 ONSTAGE.
Has Dexter ever stepped on a scale? Is he really 230 in contest?
-
Has Dexter ever stepped on a scale? Is he really 230 in contest?
i highly doube he's even been 230 onstage, he's probably been about 224-225 onstage which on him looks tremendous but no way he will ever be 250 onstage.
-
He said he was 245 at his last show (Aussie?) and that his trainer said he'll be 5 pounds bigger at the O.
Cutler is on the show now, playing nice with Dex.
245?
I didnt think Dex would be that heavy...
anyway, he won't be 250 at the O. I doubt hes even been 240lbs...
-
250lb at 5'6 shredded with his shape would look INCREDIBLE
-
i highly doube he's even been 230 onstage, he's probably been about 224-225 onstage which on him looks tremendous but no way he will ever be 250 onstage.
He has to cast that thought and try and put it in people's head. Even though he's no that big in order to place higher than the "big" boys he has to get people to think he's up there in weight.
-
250 at 5'6" lol Ronnie was 249 pounds in 1998
-
He said he was 245 at his last show (Aussie?) and that his trainer said he'll be 5 pounds bigger at the O.
Cutler is on the show now, playing nice with Dex.
NO waaaaaaay he was 245 on stage!!!!!!
-
i really doubt he is close to 245 on stage, more like 230 or so...
hye would get up to 150 offseason but he aint gonna be that big at the O
-
He claims it will be his last Olympia if he doesn't win.
Thats not what he claimed, nor did he claim to be coming in at 2fitty.
He said...this would be his BEST chance to win and he would be getting up to 250 in ther OFF SEASON...he'll be no more than 235 on stage at the heaviest.
-
240 come on man you're usually right on the money. :-\
-
Turtles don't win Olympias.
-
250lb at 5'6 shredded with his shape would look INCREDIBLE
Too bad the only place that is happening is in Dexters dreams. ::)
-
Bob says Jay is in his best off-season condition in years.
What does Bob know about bodybuilding ;D
-
Bob says Jay is in his best off-season condition in years.
Didn't he say that last year?
-
I turned it off when it got to Pep Talk. His voice is way too boring. Was having him interview Cutler some kind of joke?
Dexter's mindset was quite impressive. Humble.
-
dexter never weighed over 230 for a show ever.. and that is his own words.. a 245 pound dexter would trounce everyone but, that is not going to happen.. 235 max.. and that will be pushing it..
-
i highly doube he's even been 230 onstage, he's probably been about 224-225 onstage which on him looks tremendous but no way he will ever be 250 onstage.
I'd say this is pretty accurate. A 250 pound Dexter would be a bloated mess :P

How much does a turtle shell and nunchucks weight?
-
How much does a turtle shell and nunchucks weight?
how big is the turtle first....
-
how big is the turtle first....
150 or so...
-
150 or so...
The large mass of a turtle's shell presumably reflects a trade-off between its protective function and its imposition on the energy cost of locomotion. To examine this, we developed a relationship between body mass and shell linear dimensions in Ornate Box Turtles, Terrapene ornata, from north-central Nebraska. Using the relationship between body mass and plastron width, we estimated body mass of box turtles killed on roadways, and we cleaned and weighed their shells. Shell mass may be a linear function of body mass in these turtles, amounting to approximately a constant 30% of their body mass. Alternatively, shell mass may be an exponential function of body mass, increasing with body mass to approximately the 1.2 power; in this case, shell mass increases more quickly than body mass in these animals. We are unable to distinguish between these models based on our analysis, but the increase in shell mass with body mass is more consistent with the shell serving a supportive, rather than a protective, function. Plastron thickness increases with body mass to approximately the 0.47 power in our animals, which is also higher than expected if the shell serves solely a protective function.

hahahaha I can't believe you googled that for our benefit ;D

All Shell, scales and martial art weapons.
-
All Shell, scales and martial art weapons.
the question still is not answered though where does he hide those weapons on stage??? :)

Missed that part. Dexter called himself the Godfather? ;D

hahaha!!! Expect to see a lot more replies like this from me.
Of course, some will come back and say "don't insult others", but what is not being pointed out is that being polite on here doesn't seem to have any effect, so what other option is there?
Somebody sent this to me in a PM:
But I guess what irritates me most about the Gossip section is the "debating" style. I use debate loosely since, obviously, very few people are interested in a substantive argument; almost everybody here operates under a style over substance fallacy. You could angrily tell them air has a lower density than rock, but they don't care about the truthfulness of that. Instead, they focus on irrelevancies of tone and say you've melted down, LOL.
Polite discourse doesn't work on here. It's not like I started being a prick for the goodness of my health. I want to see how effective it is. So far, and it's sad to admit this, it has been more effective than showing decorum.
-
if dexter gets up to 235 at this stage in the game, then sadly i think hell probably do so at the expense of his midsection.
he already has a small protruding belly,,,,even though his waist is small and all his abdominals are super cut.. he gots that outward curve..
-
I'm leaning towards Squadfather's comment that Dexter has in all probability not competed at 225 or higher yet. Keep in mind he is 5'6 and 1/2.

agree thats like saying ronnie coleman was 297lbs in 2005, ripped with 2% BF, 26inch biceps, and 40inch thoughs, cant forget the 65inch chest.
-
if dexters 250 at the olympia it will be watching from row 7 fully clothed with boots on, the guy doesant even blow out off season he just gets about 10 pouinds heavier and a fair bit softer obviously as he smartly cleans himself out, before going hard for the next contest, i believe he could have won a few olympias already the guys shape is great and he still resembles the human anatomy unlike ronnie, no comment on Jay he doesnt rate in my book, just red and bloated i just cant figure it out, i would nt have him anywhere near the top.
-
only if we are lucky, good riddance.
you gotta be kidding me.
-
i don't believe that DEX will be showing up on stage 240+ that is just too much for the guy.
235 is his max... however i really believe he have good chance to win the O :-\
-
He claims it will be his last Olympia if he doesn't win.
goodbye...
he will either kill himself by upping the dosage too much or ruin his lines.

Why do fools like yourself seem to infer a post "meltdown" via reference to an explosion.
First, the detonation may be strictly atomic and not necessarily nuclear. Moreover, a "meltdown" occurs within a reactor, due to overheating, usually due to the reactor's control rods not completely shutting off, or slowing down the reaction process. This is a meltdown, NOT a picture of an actual detonation.
Silly, uneducated fool.

Dexter is great but he will never win the O and i think he knows that.. in saying that i wish i looked like that..
dex looks amazing onstage but he doesn't look like he weighs more than 240 or so, there is no way in the world he is gonna weigh 250 onstage
-
meltdown!
As an official getbig Big6 member, you should know the correct definition of a meltdown.
(Determinator:official getbig Big 6 member)

Whenever i see an interview of dexter over the internet he always comes cross as slow and a little dumb,
In the Road to the O last year on bbing.com interview he sounded dumb and didn't really know what he was talking about

NO waaaaaaay he was 245 on stage!!!!!!
Dexter is at best 220-225, but does look a lot bigger. Remember when they had the weigh in at the 88 Olympia? EVERYBODY was a good 7-10lbs lighter then they said they were going to be. BBer's lie about their weight, lifts and cycles

Shawn Ray was about 208 pounds at the same height ???

To retire just because he doesnt win the O is a bad move in my opinion. As long as he's placing top 5 in shows, He's making big money, why quit just cuz of the O, especially when the arnold $$$ is just as good.

Dex has done this before at the O.
He will take top 2, and he will be back in 2009.

exactly, the following were Ronnie's REAL stats for that show, Weight-278-280 pounds, Arms-21 and a half to 22 inches, Legs-35 inches, Chest 59 inches, still massive beyond belief.

Ruhl quads were slim compared to Colemans and his back is smaller aswell
-
Ruhl quads were slim compared to Colemans and his back is smaller aswell
you are mistaken
ruhl lacks definition and shape
not size
not anywhere, except maybe triceps(and thats relative to the rest of his body, his tris would be sick on almost any other pro)
