Over the weekend, I was in a bar, seeing a friends' band. At one point in the evening, I ended up making some small talk with a woman sitting next to me. She immediately starts hitting me with one question after another: What I do, my age, nationality, where I was from, where I live etc. After a few minutes, I just said eff this and walked away.
I've encountered women like this before. What's up with them? It's not normal. I'm currently dating someone, and, in two months, she hasn't asked that many questions.

I think she wanted to score with you! You blew it! :)

Conversation is one thing, people who think they are lawyers are another. I always told people, if you like asking 50 thousand questions, quit your job, go to law school and become a lawyer. In court you can ask all the questions you want.
-
Maybe Lord is right...she could have been hitting on you.
Or maybe she was all coked up ???

One of my all-time favorites quotes:
"Ask me no questions, and I'll tell you no lies."
As far as her wanting to score with me, I think it was more a matter of her looking for a husband. There's a difference.

Highly likely ;D

I'm curious if she asked if you were in a relationship ?

Nah. I think she was just annoying.

No. The exchange really didn't last too long. I was getting really pissed off. So, it was a matter of walking away, or saying something like "What the fvck is with all the nosey questions?"
-
maybe she really likes ephedrine, TL. ;D

So you say you're making small talk...but you're dating someone. Yet you are so bothered by this?
??? ??? ???
Just curious. :)

I'd rather get all the questions in the beginning.
It's all the questions after you're married that are the pain in the ass. At 3:30am the other day, the wife called to ask me where I was and I told her. She wanted me back in the hotel room, but when I get there, she again asks where I was and I told that I was with my buddy talking in the elevator lobby...which is where I'd been for an hour.
Early the next morning, we see my gal-pal on the elevator and the wife starts hitting her with questions. Baby girl is smart enough to play the 'too drunk to remember' card, but then the wife wants to act up over the fact that I didn't provide her with a play-by-play of the entire evening. Screw that nonsense - my time is my time, period. If I want to have a drink with friends, then that's just what the fuck I'm going to do.

I sure as hell prefer it to the strong silent treatment.
Tre', you and I have corresponded on a friendly basis under another nickname of mine. It sounds like you are playing her a bit. While I can't exactly condemn that because I do the same thing, not crossing any lines but having some fun seeing how close I can come, I can see why she might ask you some questions :)
-
Better for her to "pepper" you with questions than with spray (mace)! ;D

Those are the kind of questions I'd ask if I were trying to determine if you were boyfriend or fling material.

That was my reaction too. She liked you, one way or the other.
