Former light heavyweight champion, Chuck Liddell, has been forced to withdraw from his upcoming main event fight against Rashad Evans at UFC 85 in London, England, on June 7 because of an injury sustained during training, according to MMARated.com.
Here’s a snip:
“No word on the extent of the injury and how long he will be out but plans are for both men to face each other later in the summer.”
-
That sucks. I am assuming Rashad gets yanked as the main event even if they find him another opponent, so they gotta get a new main event.

Holy crap that looks bad.
Before seeing that pic i was thinking come on.. but now...wow!
-
i wonder what he did more specificially to injure himself like that
-
yeah...cause we've all pulled a hamstring and nothing like that....
that looks more like a bad bruising from impact rather than a pulled hammy. then again what do i know.
-
That is exactly what a torn hamstring looks like...very painful as well.

if that pic would be posted on the g & o the whole thread would about the size of his legs ;)
-
Thats me not parting with my money now unless they get some shit hot main event there because the rest of the card is average at best.

that's definitely a torn muscle. i didn't even know it was possible to tear the hamstring off at the ass. i figured it would come off at the knee.

Calling that card "average" is generous of you. It's fucking lame IMO. I was just looking at it on the website. Even with a good main event, nothing on that card that even looks interesting.

Right on.
This card will be a serious drop in PPVs. Dana probably thought Chuck could rescue it, but with him out its looking bad.

dana's gonna need to put a wrestling bear on this card........or something

yeah I read that earlier...
I don't have a whole lot of sympathy for someone who goes into a bears cage and gets mauled to death....
