Ok so im following it (cutting) and am getting some mixed reports about the cheat day/meal.
Is it a cheat day (eat some carbs with each meal) or just one meal that day and have as much carbs as you want for that one meal?

one meal, as much carbs as you can comfortably consume
you can ask dave your question on the MD forum..hes got an "ask dave" thread that he goes on every day or two

palumbos cool dude
i like his diet cause its simple
but if you knowyour body well, then you can diet much more effectively on your own

If i finish this diet, it will be the first cut diet i have actually stuck to, so i guess i dont know my body that well :D
Seems pretty good so far. The carb depleted head aches have gone now too, only lasted a couple of days...

hey man if youve got trouble sticking with diets, then dont be so strict how dave wantss you to be . just eat zero carbs for a week to get yourself into a firm ketosis then eat one or two cups veggies per day and no other carbs... no six meal per day, weighing out your food, counting grams of fats... dont need to do that
-
Yeah im def gonna stick to this one, ive tried about 2 other times, but shit came up that pretty much forced me to stop following any form of a diet.
Im not too strict with this one, like im not weighing food, im just keeping a rough estimate of protein, fat, carbs. Doing cardio. Sticking to 6 meals a day. It doesnt seem too hard to stick to this diet.

From what I read, Dave recommends a full two weeks on the diet before incorporating a cheat meal.

When he did my diet their were no cheat days and maybe 30 grams of carbs with extreme amounts of fat to keep from insulin storing fat I had much better results dieting on 700 grams of carbs a day and no fat though
