Are cases like these common in a single-payer medical system? Is a system like this exactly what the dem. candidates want or will they make it an option to self-pay?

Some would call your post mean spirited, as it paints a picture of a system that does not function.

Why aren't you posting clips of where universal health care is working fine?
Why would anyone who supports universal healthcare think that defects in it are what to strive for? ???
