Title: Some of the best student-athletes EVER....
Post by: Moosejay on April 28, 2008, 10:38:32 AM: The Collegiate Scholarships BB Championships I promoted in the late 90's....all entrants had to be full time students, they had to pass a drug test (altho I admit it was likely beaten by a few...), they had to write an essay to compete...first of its kind....

Aylward
Drummond

Pat Aylward, Overall winner

MW winner streets...today one of best WNBF pros

I gave 5 thousand bucks in scholarships away every year

Oh yeah, the big schools don't even expect their top athletes to attend classes. I bet these studs were rolling in dough from the boosters.

They conitune to not get caught....you will always see fellows who should get hooked on phonics in the backfields of Ivy-league level schools such as Michigan and the like.
