McCain likes bush's economic policy and said the ecnoomy was strong.
By the time election day gets here, unemployment will be at 6%, gas will be $4 easily, and the dollar will continue its slide.
All this reverend drama won't matter much to people who just moved from middle class to poor.

Sure. And IMHO, race, abortion, gay right, the war, and a million other issues all come SECOND to the economy.
Both obama and mccain have a decent shot at winning. The debates will decide all. Swing voters haven't even spoken yet.

Bingo...its the economy, stupid. Do you really want 4 more years of Bush economic policy that got us into this mess?

Nobody will ever agree 100% with a candidate.
Think of the maslow hierarchial table. You want those lower levels first (security and economy) before you get to lofty higher goals (gay rights and other issues that don't affect you).
War is ending and recession is arriving. Historicallly, the dems will win in a cakewalk. It's a change election. but who knows.
