SO to round out leg day I decided to add a couple extra exercises to my routine. I put in thigh abductor and adductor in the middle of my workout. I'm also doing squats (or hack squats), straight leg deads, quad extensions, lying leg curls, and calf raises, seated and standing.
So Leg day was sunday, and the pain started kicking in yesterday after my chest workout. The inside of my thighs up by my groin are killing me. My glutes and hip flexors are sore...I haven't had a leg day this effective at creating delayed soreness like this in a few years. Max OT has been giving me some good gains. I think a lot of it is gaining back lost mass and strength that I had when I was at my best. This pain in the groin though is brutal. I have newfound respect for these machines that everyone says are just for the women.

The same shit can happen when you start HIT cardio. The sprints = killer.

I wouldn't judge the effectiveness of a workout by the severity of DOMS...
