I'm starting a HST routine. Does this sound like too much or not enough exercises? Which exercises would you remove, which would you add? I have only been lifting for 2 years, so if I excluded an exercise, it is probably because I'm not confident in my form.
Squat
Stiff Leg Dead Lift
Flat Bench Press
Barbell Rows
Barbell Shoulder Press
V-Bar Pulldown
Upright Rows

If u can I would substitute Db shoulder presses for Militaries. As for upright rows, they can be a dangerous movement, so depending on what you're trying to hit I would susbtitute for that exercise too- if you're trying to hit side delts I would go for side raises instead; if you're tying to hit traps, some sort of shrugging movement would be a good susbtitute.

You only need 4 exercises with HST.
Squats
Deadlifts
Chin-Ups
Dips.

that is only one take on HST. If u go to to the HST website they have many exercises listed for the regimen. Exercises should be kept to a minimum however, so I would go with compound movements only.

why do you think i listed these 4?

you can use more than that, those four are just the bare minimum- although IMO deadlifting every workout can be a hassle, better off using stiff legs and alternating it every other workout.
Some people like having variety, and there's nothing wrong with that. If you opt for more exercises, then definitely should incorporate some alternating/supersetting of antagonisitc bodyparts. There's ways to make things work out ;)

i never do flat bench. Since i stopped doing flat bench, my shoulder problems were gone.

i should have mentioned that i only use bench as a warm up for shoulders.i do not use a weight unless i can do it for at least 10 reps.
