I've added 3 cups of rice per day to my very clean diet, but I think the rapid weight gain was more due to cutting caffeine out of my diet entirely so quickly. I've been taking it, in low and high doses (mostly high!) for 4 years straight. Dropping 600-800 mg per day all of a sudden does make a difference in a lot of subtle things.

i toss in 1 cup uncooked. It ends up being about 3 meals' worth of servings. That's all I've added - a side of rice to 3 meals each day. That's why I credit the caffeine for the weight gain, not so much the rice.
