I used to see Caputo at local shows in Ohio when he was competing.  He was a fucking house.  Caputo, along with Dave Liberman were beasts.  I remember watching the 91 Nationals on ESPN (yes, bbing was once on ESPN...hell, they used to show the Jr. nationals).  Levrone was a house.  Hell, the Light-Heavy's were loaded too.

LOL  He had the Gheri curl and was SHREDDED.  I really think he was natural.  He was small, but you could see he was not loaded when compared to the others in the top 5.  It was good to see matt Mendenhall compete in that show.  He could just never get over that hump.

His chest and traps were just bizzare looking.

Man, I remember Parillo was HUGE back then.  He had that nasty Cap-Tri that gave you the shits.  I thinki EVERYBODY was trying to eat "10,000 calories a day".  That and his facia strecthing.  He ruined one of the nerves in Caputo's calves doing that shit.

I am still amazed Edgar Fletcher didn't turn pro, he always looked to be in incredible shape. Just shows how good the competition was back then
