i think so. what say you?
-
I think the guy has talent and is a great poser, but is a little too over the top for me. I always thought Dorian was an underrated poser, ignoring the obvious choices such as Corney, Arnold, Melvin etc..
-
some it comes off over the top, most of it comes off as pure 100% fucking genius!
check out the first video. as he comes out..VERY stylish and smooth. genius. then he does that little "look back" <- over the top. BUT, then he truns back around and does that skip with the hand shake ...oh my god dude..that little move, so subtle, but it adds so much style and smootheness to his intro. FUCKING GENIUS ! i could watch that again and again and again..its like a tupac song bro. it doesnt get old.
-
I don't know, he moves good and looks good while doing it. But there is something ridiculous about the way he moves. I guess I'd call it.... kinda gay (in danger here of sounding too 'getbig').
I vastly prefer Ed Corney. Moves in a 'powerful' way, if that makes any sense?
-
Kai Green is a very interesting poser for sure - I'm not sure if I like it and it's certainly not my favourite but you can't deny it's an original and unique style of posing. Very clever to watch.
I always preferred guys that move gracefully to music and let their bodies flow with it - like Shawn Ray and sometimes Flex Wheeler. Vince Taylor was also great too in his own way. There aren't many others that come to mind.
-
Kevin levrone
-
That guy Ed Corney from pumping iron I think is the best poser... Not sure if i spelled his name correct
-
Lee Labrada or MOHAMED MAKKAWY.

-
ZANE, ZANE, ZANE!!!!
-
Older in this one, but still great nonetheless 8)

the only thing about corney is he really doesnt have much sense of the "4th wall" (as kai calls it)... what that means is that he doesnt really realize what the audience is viewing.... he hits these amazing poses, but in order for them to be realized, you have to view them from different vantage points than where the camera (and audience) is... its like... he doesnt realize that to his right and left and behind him; no one can see hgim...

Kai's routines are pretty entertaining, but I like the more classical posing like corney's. I understand what you are saying though

I definitely like Corney better, Kai posing isnt really posing it just looks like dancing, Kai does hardly any poses. Corney transitions from one pose to the next and is continually posing
-
Kevin levrone
yeah i don't think Levrone's name gets mentioned enough for being an awesome poser. He always made routines as "non gay" as they can be.
-
1. Kai Greene
2. Kevin Levrone
3. Melvin Anthony
-
I am going to have to go with Corney or Lebrada
-
russ testo
I have to agree........saw him at the Emerald Cup a few years back and he was amazing. Classic style routine without all this dancing we see now.
-
i wouldnt say he was the best poser, but the best routine ive seen with my own eyes was from ed van amsterdam at the brit gran prix, posed to barry white, was fuckn awsome,, blew everyone away, very amusing too
-
Bob Paris
-
The most "impressive" will allways be Ronnie no doubt about it...
"best poser" not sure what the criterias are... we're still looking at an "oiled man" no matter what.
-
Bob Paris
Yup
-
Vince Taylor he's the one THEY ALL coppied..(91 Mr.O)..you know the first pose slowley to slow music then hit shots form side to side of the stage to rap or fast music. Now its like a mandatory thing for most guys.
-
Mr.Serge Nubret
-

Yes.
ANYONE who dances, pops or locks during a routine should autimatically be dismissed from consideration
-
Rusty Jeffers
Ed Corney
Arnold S.
Mohamed Makkawy
Shawn Ray
Bob Paris
Vince Taylor
-
i rreiterate with boyer coe . and dickerson was not far . but corney was the one of the first great poser . how about yates and coleman ... they ewere mr o so many times ....
-
Chris Dickerson's physique looked incredible while it was moving.
-
Arnold S.
russ testo
Mohamed Makkawy
-
how about worst poser . .
-

-

so super hero like insane.
-
Frank Zane or Schwarzenegger ftw.
-
This.
-
corney melvin anthony paris and boyer coe .. IMO
-
Probably showing my age, but for me either Bob Paris or Lee Labrada.
-
I watched Melvin Anthony come out in a predator mask at the Arnold. I gotta tell you, that was pretty fun to watch.
-
(http://cache.sharenxs.com/images/wz/cabc/ab/ab/ah/aa/grapefruit4.gif)
How does he go out in public after having made that????
-
levrone and ray for sure.....darrem Charles, kamali, and Anthony put on a good show, always thought kai's was a bit weird...
-
corney is definitely the best poser of his era and maybe of all time.especially when talking about classic posing.a lot of the modern competitors that are known as good posers are more entertaining and incorporate a lot of dance moves.dorian was real good,as was Arnold at displaying a very professional routine without being to fancy.some of the great posers were, dickerson, vince taylor, melvin Anthony, kai greene, and boyer coe.
-
This was bodybuilding and posing : 1982, London, Mr Olympia
Best poser : Mohamed Makkawy (just my opinion)
