Title: Matt Hughs on St. Pierre

I am sure you guys have seen this on other sites but I thought I would post it to get your reactions.  Apparently, Matt thinks that his loss to GSP can be summed up as simply rough night.  I get the impression he would like another shot.    First Rampage gets annihilated twice by Wanderlei and makes excuses, now Hughes is doing the same.  Can't anybody lose a fight anymore without excuse making.

Hughes On George St. Pierre:

"Obviously, Georges St. Pierre is a tremendous fighter, but I had a real bad night at the same time he had a real good night. When that happens, you saw what the result can be. But I did get into some good positions and I saw some things, but I couldn't do what I knew I needed to do."

This part of the qoute shows that he was just simply outmatched. when you have the chance but can't do nothing with it, usually shows that you are out matched.

Good positions?  How about sooo good he got his ass handed to him!  Monster delusional post fight interview talking in riddles...he's done!

LMAO.  He's been soundly crushed twice by GSP.  These weren't split decision wins.  He got KTFO in the 1st and he was crying like a bitch while verbally tapping out of the 2nd.

when ya think about it ya really can't find a lot of fault in hughes having a fighters mentality....


I mean......afterall...... he is a fighter !

I hear where your coming from.  If he needs to do think that way to psyche himself up for a fight then so be it.  At the same time it borders on delusional.

IMO, Hughes lost that eye of the tiger.  He needs to get aggressive and put pressure on...at least he'll have a shot then.
