Title: anybody else cooking metrx pancakes?
Post by: judochoke on May 10, 2008, 05:16:57 PM
i have been making them on my days off. i eat really well when I'm at work, eating every two hours or so. its easy at work. but on my days off, in the morning after reading the paper, its really hard to start eating for the day. so i bought some metrx pancake mix, and the stuff tastes really good. i make six pancakes, and it comes out to about 24 grams of protein, a good start to the day. the mix is kind of pricey, but i went to coscto this week, and they had a high protein pancake mix, so i bought some. it tasted like sh*t. so I'm going to stick with metrx. anybody else like them.

You said it's 'costly' and was 24 grams of protein for 6 pancakes? Depending on size of course, that is hardly high protein. Larger sized pancakes made the traditional way would have about the same from the eggs/milk used.
