He never used synthol as some have suggested. Excessive spot injections at that time.

Ummmm, yeah. ::) That's the current trend to say what happened. But it was worn out when Nasser, Jason Arntz, Ernie Taylor and a host of others claim the same thing.
These odd lumps in competitors physiques were not around until the advent of Synthol. Yet competitors were doing site injections long before.
Things that make you go Hmmmmmmmm......::)

That was insane looking!!! I've never seen that on anybody.

Odd lumps were around prior to synthol... Look at some pics from the early to mid-90's & you would see some odd lumps/bruises/holes in some amateurs.. As far as Kevin is concerned---no synthol was used. Try injecting some Sust & Prop into certain areas (& no b.s. numbers) & see what happens. Especially when your bodyfat percentage is below 10. No current trend youngblood---reality for quite a few competitors.

i never heard of this athlete before.

this thread is about a BBer, there's probably a board on here to talk about sports

Kevin English was a freaky middleweight back in the late 90's. He competed in only 4 shows before turning pro. '98 was the year....Atlantic States(overall winner), Junior Nationals (overall winner), Nationals (middleweight winner). In that '98 Nationals, Orville Burke won the SuperHwy; Jason Arntz won the Heavyweight & Overall.. Kevin has competed only 3X as a pro.. 3rd time was the charm..

Impossible to argue with people here. Everyone knows, best about bodybuilding, but what has anyone here ever really won?

Flex Mag even showed it in their article about Synthol.

Say whatever you want, and defend him (or yourself) all you want.
How far back are you looking, when I mention "the past"- only to the eighties and nineties? Go back farther, in the seventies or sixties. Guys like Grimek, Reeves, Arnold, Corney or Haney didn't have odd lumps from injections. No fourth deltoid head, or calves with right angles. Triceps hanging off the arm like a stripper off Drew Carey a la Ernie Taylor were never seen till Pump and Pose came on the market. Jason Arntz never had odd looking shoulders, then he claims he site injected and his shoulders have taken years to come back to normal- along with posts over at MM that he was using massage therapy to speed the process.
All because of site injections? Really? You're telling me that one shot will have this lasting effect? Or are these guys just stupid (honestly wouldn't mind a serious answer to this!) and continue to inject while the deformity continues and worsens? ::)
Deny deny deny is some peoples motto. However, using common logic, one can see how thin of a lie "site injections" really is.
Common sense isn't really too common, is it?

I didn't say one shot. Don't be stupid YB.. Contest prep is usually 12-16 weeks. You tend to run out of places to hit, especially when injections are almost daily. Hitting scar tissue can cause infections, which is what happened with Kev's delts that year. But believe what you want.. If you say he used synthol, then he must have... 8)

he's a blaeck... 'nuff said

why would you use prop and sustanon together?? you already have a mix why add prop? adding equipoise or winstrol to the sust. would make sense. winstrol always worked really well for site injections by the way.

;D ;D I'll let you have the Brooklyn Bridge for a good price, but you've got to act now. Send me all your money.
If you were told that information... someone lied to you. If that's your opinion... spend a few more years around BB & drugs and you'll find out what's up.
It's Synthol my man, shit loads of it.

Prop is a hardner + the mindset was to put on size thinking that he wasn't big enough to compete as pro. He had to build up from a middleweight to a heavyweight.. Several pros that I know feel equipose is useless (I don't agree), and winstrol doesn't always react well with some people.

I've been around for quite a few years. I could teach you a few things. And no one told me shit. It isn't synthol. If you have been around this game a few years, you would be able to tell the difference.

I say give him the benefit of the doubt.

Injecting in the side delts isn't really "site injecting" -- it's the second most popular injection spot for intramuscular injections amongst doctors and a recommended injection site for all patients requiring intramuscular shots. You shouldn't get lumps unless you're shooting in excess of 1g/week in the same spot. As stated, bodybuilders run out of fresh sites (like heroin junkies who wind up shooting between their toes!) and will use (in usual order of preference) the glutes, side delts, outer quads, rear delts, triceps, biceps (brachialis), and calves.

Thanks.
Anytime. In return, how about posting a pic of some nice college girls bent over? This thread could use some fixing. Thanks in advance!
-
I remember seeing Kevin in some show(98 0r 99) and thinking he had a bright future. Then he kind of dissapeared :-\
In the pic above his calves need work but I don't see anything weird about them.

nothing really that weird in that picture. they are just non-existent. And Spec Ed, ever try a calf injection? Let me know how it feels...

There is a photo of him from the back focusing on his shoulder region...it shows a lot more clearly that someone had "Syned". ;)
