Free industry and press passes:  46     Paid attendance: 4   That's 50 people total watching the show.  52 if you count the security guard and clean-up guy.

Nearly a full house...I'd say the theater was 85-90% full....some upper level seats empty but that was it.

Full report from me tomorrow,

MJ

In every show in BBing history, not one photograph has ever been taken which shows the full audience, during the pro section.

Usually it's 500 people for the NPC contest and 32 industry people for the pros.  imagine if 10,000 people came out to see a high school fotoball game, but the NFL's Patriots only managed to get 700 people a week to show up in Foxboro...

$100 tix

$ 80 tix

were two options

4 $100 tix left at 6 p.m.

approx 900 seats occupied

Avg sale=$90.00/Ticket

So, About $80K gross tix sales

+ sponsors $ fees

Did not lose money

Like it or not, this is what I saw and experienced

Why would someone pay $100 or even $80 to see this crap?   Seriously.

I'd pay that much for the Olympia and Arnold but this show was as clear cut as Ronnie Coleman competing at the 2008 Natural Idaho Classic 50+ year old category. $20 tops and I want good seats  ;D

Obviously not going to a site or a place that you have nothing but negative things to say and spend time there. If you think Swimming is Gay don't got swimming.com and bitch about it. Nobody is going to like everything. If you don't like it Great...let it go.

We treat it as a night out to NY with friends and go for a nice dinner afterward. We keep our expectations realistic and always have fun.

You may (or may not) be surprised to find that the shows don't make the famous profits you think they do. Every penny of that charge is necessary.

And if anyone should complain, its me(and I am not). Unlike YOU, I dropped $500 on tix :)

You could be a great Promoter, Moose. I would like to see the NY Pro to be more exciting. New york got some of the best bodybuilding Fans. the same crowd that used to Rock the Night of Champions is somewhere outthere. Beside Met-rx and Champion, I hardly saw any big supp company on the floor. maybe if the venue was bigger, it might have attract more

Hey pecs. Yes, your words ring true.

I have promoted on my own and with Mike Katz since I was in my late twenties, with varying degrees of success.
