The video was very inspiring … at least to me … u see all of the stars of pumping iron after more that 2 decades get together and talk about how they lived back then and made the movie … Arnold, Franco, Lou, Mike Katz, Ed Corny, and more

A great video … nothing instructional but very motivating and you see what BBing use to be and what it should be about …

I try to use that aspect of BBing to keep the sport alive

And if u read in one of my interviews … I said “Bodybuilding will stay the same unless we have another Arnold in the sport. A person who can market and represent Bodybuilding same as Arnold in the current era is needed. I think the Bodybuilding community is still under the blessings of what Arnold did in the 70s through to the 90's through his competing and making movies. Now we need another person to do the same for the 21st century”

The making of pumping iron is just as good as the acutal movie.  Some cool footage on there.

There was about 100 total hours shot...most never seen...now all annexed by Arnold from Butler for a bit over a million.

Too bad...some of that stuff would have been compelling to see.

I like the party scene where Robbie and the others are having a good time! It was a cool era.

Totally agree with this, Arnold did things that reached across the narrow span of just the cult followers of bodybuilding, he served as special Olympics International Weight Training Coach in 1979, and as Chair of the President's Council on Physical Fitness and Sports in 1990. He was a true Champion, as was Lee Haney and most guys from those errors.  I like Cutler and Coleman, but it just seems that it takes such a narrow focus to maintain the size of todays pros that it steals the heart of the sport away.
