Title: For Religious Thinkers

A) "So created God the man in His image, in the image of God created He him; male and female He created them."

B) "Mbombo vomited again, this time the trees came out of his stomach, and animals, and people , and many other things: the first woman, the leopard, the eagle, the anvil, monkey Fumu, the first man, the firmament, medicine, and lighting. Nchienge, the woman of the waters, lived in the East."

C) Neither account (A or B) proves the truth of the matter asserted. The only answer regarding creation is, "I don't know"

Denkst Du wirklich, dass, nur weil Du sehr geschickt abstrahieren kannst, deine Aussagen ueber Religion mehr gelten, als die, die seit jeher von religioesen Denkern geaeussert worden sind. Bisher hast Du immer noch nicht den genauen Inhalt deines Glaubens beschrieben. Ich frage mich warum.

(The question is whether I think that my statements on religion are more significant than those of other religious thinkers and why I don't describe the exact content of my believes.)

It's always a question of interpretation - or better - discovering the truth behind the words. I could e.g. say that my 'religious believes' are summarized in the gospel. However, a christian fundamentalist (aka someone who thinks he can interpret the bible 'literally') would say the same thing. Still we differ.

That also applies to your comment on religious thinkers. It's possible that a religious thinker says something almost completely contradicting to another religious thinker. Still the underlying truth could be the same. Or, both are completely unenlightened and only their egos are talking.
