Why on EARTH would he need you?

Because about 90% of the fighters out there don't know squat about strength training, functional training or explosive training and conditioning.

Did you thnk I was going to teach him skills or something ::)?

Oh yeah, they got to be pro fighters by eating cupcakes and jogging 1 mile every 3 weeks...rampage is a VERY strong man, Very functional fighter and is ALWAYS in good condition. he was like this BEFORE he had REAL trainers, but i'm sure you knew that.

Come on dude, you can come up with better stuff than this.

He trains here in HB and Big Bear, I got hooked up with him from a client who is his sparring partner. The place where he trains has trainers but none that know how to train athletes (in case you don't know you can't train everyone the same way). I've been training his sparring partner since he was 19, he's 25 now. Jackson is doing his own workouts but with no real structure, just comes in does a few heavy exercises and is done. My job is to periodize his training, structure his training and condition him properly while cutting down on structural injuries and getting him away from single joint exercises and teaching him multiple joint exercises to make functionally stronger.

I've only met him briefly, just talked training and what I could for him. I'll meet with him again on Monday, he's in Big Bear right now at Tito's gym.

Agreed, convince him to stay away from that vile subculture of MMA and introduce him to the glorious world of bodybuilding!

Well, sounds like a very good opportunity for you.

Seeing how good he is, i'd like to see how he does with some real training.

Good luck, i hope it works out.
