If he had improved his back , learned to pose properly, and not almost died getting dry for his shows a couple of times, he could have been one of the all time greats. What separated him from the current crop of mass monsters was his small waist.

But Priest said the same thing concerning his own drug usage, and most people have thrown that little explanation out the window.

I concur that Paul Dimwit had some of the best genetics in the game; it's just a shame that he instead chose to "yell from the sidelines" by claiming that some huckster Canadian company paid him $4.2 million and that he was gonna kill Bob Chick for talking about him.

Maybe Dillet was on a minimal amount of drugs when Lee lived with him and saw him taking whatever Paul took. But you know to get to be the size of Jurassic Paul, you don't take minimal doses. I'm sure he mega-dosed or at some point had much higher doses than when Lee "supervised" him.

This is what some dude who trains at Gold's Venice said on another forum, no idea how true it is. He mentions exophthalmos which is when the eyes bulge due to hyperthyroidism.

Quote
As far as dose, its more of an individual matter w/ thyroid. Defendis would use just 25mcg t4 daily. Paul Dillet was on the opposite end of the spectrum using as much as 400mcg/day of t4 with as much as 400mcg clen as well. He was also exophthalmic, a classic sign of hyperthyroidism. For me, I am fairly sensitive to the cardiac effects of thyroid, particularly t3. People who use t4 often do so b/c these effects seem to be lessened. For me personally, anything over 50mcg t3 will eventually cause palpitations. The highest I have gone on t4 is 100mcg/day. I see no problems with going higher, say up to 100-150mcg t3 or 200-300mcg t4, if it is well tolerated. I have always been on the lower end of the dose spectrum where thyroid is concerned, but this is something you have to find out for yourself. Thyroid dosing is more individualized in my experience than say AAS dosing. I would not recommend using thyroid w/ out concurrent use of AAS/T. I do not think that insulin or GH would be sufficient to stave off catabolism.
