Everytime i train triceps i get a pump in my chest and it remains the same, if i could get it too atrophy just a little bit it would be in proportion to my arms.
Is there any way of shrinking my chest?
-
stop working out, whats the point if ur chest will always be out of proportion?

what are you doing for your arms? why not just bring up your arms instead of trying to shrink your chest?
-
Maybe lay off exercises that bring your chest into play, such as narrow grip bench press and dips, and concentrate on using really good form on tricep isolation exercises?
-
my arms take time to grow because they are lagging bodyparts and my chest grows like a weed.
-
what are you doing for your arms???
-
your doing your tricep movements wrong if your getting a pump in your chest.
-
It was mainly the close grip bench press but generally I would get a small pump in my chest anyway from doing the whole routine of exercises. Heavy Tricep pushdowns, Tricep Dumbbell Extensions etc
The only exercise i wasnt fond of was skull crushers, i know they are fundamentally important but i never felt comfortable doing them.

u're complaining about your chest, but u just listed your tricep workout.

Agreed.

yes, the tricep workout always gets my chest pumped....hence why it wont shrink

I'm calling BS on that, u don't do any additional chest exercises?
From the exercises you listed i can only think of CGBP as an exercise that would stimulate your chest in any significant manner.
If this is a genuine enquiry, i would just ease off on chest exercises. what else can we say..

How about building up the rest of your body? ;D ;D

Inject botox in your pecs. problem solved..... j/k focus on the mind muscle connection with your arms, also do the skull crushers. You don't like them cuz they are hard to do, but that is the key.
-
stop direct chest work. Chest is the quickest to shrink if not being directly trained - fact.
-
I woiuld cut way back on chest training and just maintain my chest size, and make arms a priority.
What`s your chest routine look like and post your arm routine too please.

I havent trained chest in 3 months, no flat bench for a year.
I recently went on a bulk and prioritised my arms, so i would do biceps and triceps seperately on different workout days. 3 months it took and i think I only gained half an inch to my arms but it was better than nothing.
Arms would be bombed by fewer sets with higher intensity and i made sure i did biceps after a rest day so i would get the maximum benefit. Ive always had weak arms and a strong chest.
I really cant do skull crushers, i dont mind hard work at all but something about my elbow dosent feel right when i perform the exercise. Like a sharp pain.
Btw im not a noob to bodybuilding, been doing this for 2-3 years so i know a fair deal about training.
The chest only needs to come down a little bit, thats all
-
if your not worried about over training chest... just hammer the fuck out of you triceps regardless of getting chest pump..
for me... i dont care about my front delts gettign over trained, cuz i got a weak chest... so if during chest i start to feel front delts getting worked, i dont stop.. i just keep POUNDING POUNDING POUNDING till the chest is fried...regardless of over training the front delts

Contrary to my username I don't really care about benching 500lbs or weighing 240lbs at 10%, all bodyparts should correspond with one another so i have a nice flowing physique.

What exercises do you do for chest and more importantly - how do you do them?
I've got the complete opposite problem to you - my arms grow fast but my chest is easily one of my weakest bodyparts. :-\
