yup hes making a comeback alright. Hes wrestling for a italian wrestling promotion called NWE that are doing a tour in Spain with him. because fans are starved of wrestling in certain parts of Europe they have been drawing big numbers at shows recently but then again they will have to draw big in order to pay Warrior what he will be wanting.

Dont be surprised if WWE or TNA start knocking on his door. TNA have already started mentioning his name on TV already.

I'm sorry, but for a 48 year old man, that is still an impressive physique. The lack of mass compared to his physique "back in the day" is probably because he now takes the natural route.

As for getting a call from WWE....hell no.....

They both got exposed for how over the hill they were and that they should have let go of the past a long time ago.

Warrior has been holding on to those glory days that long that its caused those massive bicep tears that he has.

Warrior is good for a nostalgia trip but he was very limited back then and I cant see why he will come back being any better.......be fun to watch for a lil bit though.

He had an even more impressive physique BEFORE the WWF (1987). Even before he was partnered with Sting as the Blade Runners. In the EARLY 1980's he was strictly a bodybuilders and was huge. His arms today are toothpics, with two little bubbles where his biceps should be and he has non-existant triceps (NO MASS, which used to be his trademark). His most muscular is sad.

I still love when he had a posedown with Ravishing Rick Rude. Thos were the days!!!

The reason his matches were so short is because he would become winded after his long run from backstage to the ring. As part of his persona he would practically sprint to the ring, shake the ropes, etc at 100miles per hour and then be too exhausted to take the match beyond 3-5 min.

Dude was a beast in terms of physique and his finishing move was a gorilla press. It was cool when he was partnered with LOD for a short time.

This is not just him getting older or being off the sauce (or on less sauce).  Look at those arms!  Something is wrong with this man!  Is there an official diagnosis for this beyond Palumboism?

His traps/shoulders look good but just below the deltoid it's as if he had an arm transplant.  Scary!

As for getting a call from WWE....hell no.....

Mcmahon is all about second chances but his court affairs with Warrior were very bad.....also do we remember when he went to WCW in 96 to battle Hogan and how bad this was???

McMahon gave him a second chance......actually he gave Warrior a third chance.

WWF fired the Ultimate Warrior in 1991, because he (at the last minute) demanded more money ($500,000, I think) and threatened to sit out SummerSlam, if he didn't paid up front.

He got re-hired in 1992, came back with shorter, different-colored hair and about 20 lb. lighter (which fueled the rumors that the Ultimate Warrior died and the '92 version was another guy).

He got the axe that year for violating the company's short-lived drug policy (which may or may not have been about anabolics), shortly after which, he legally changed his name from Brian James (Jim) Helwig to "Warrior".

His third stint was in 1996, shortly after which he got canned for repeatedly not showing up at house shows where he was advertised. UW initially claimed it was because of his father's death. McMahon, however, states that while it was true that his father died, Warrior had not talked to his father in a decade.

The long diatribe of an promo he did with Hulk Hogan in WCW in 1998 (when he speaks about the virtues of justice untying his hands so that he can fulfull another destiny) refers to the lawsuit he put on McMahon in 1996 for $6 million and/or the rights to use the "Ultimate Warrior" name outside the WWF.

After the abysmal match he had with Hogan at Halloween Havoc, Eric Bischoff wanted to re-negotiate his contract. But, Warrior wanted too much money and given his limited (and pitiful) in-ring performances, Bischoff felt it wasn't worth it, even though he wanted to keep him long-term (despite the vast perception that WCW hired Warrior, solely/primarily to let Hogan avenge his loss at WrestleMania 6).

While the saying goes that you "never say never" in wrestling, I wouldn't bet my house on McMahon looking to employ the Ultimate Warrior a fourth time, especially since McMahon has found that making new stars is easier (and cheaper) that overpaying old ones.

The Ultimate Warrior is my favourite wrestling "character" of all time. The dude was pure intensity and incredible strong. Plus, his was a physique that actually had competitive bodybuilding merit.

I do agree he's gone off the deep end a bit. But I say, cool. It's in keeping with all he spoke of in his heyday onscreen rants.

With significant weight loss and a different hair style, you can very easily look like a different person. Again, I refer you to how Warrior looked in 1992, when he returned for his second WWF run, as opposed to 1991, when he got fired after SummerSlam.

When the Ultimate Warrior returned in 1992, he had cut his hair, and he had not been in the gym as religiously as he had been in the past. So, he looked like a different person. – Bruce Prichard (aka “Brother Love")

What happened is that Warrior came back with shorter hair; it was really blonde. And, he had this singlet with muscles painted on it, which was ludicrous, because he was still really big. So, people thought that it was a different person, that the original Ultimate Warrior died, and they got this guy to take his place – Chris Jericho

For those who "get" Warrior, his The Ultimate Warrior persona was / is representative of something much greater than professional wrestling.

Plus, he rocked hard as all hell when he entered the ring and proceeded to humiliate those in his immediate space who attempted to match his intensity and power. He beat challengers simply with his overpowering presence.

a "has been" coming back to a fake sport...if i could roll my eyes any harder they'd break outta my head
