I think a blend of the two is best.

IDEA is great, have been to their conferences am a member and all that, but do still wonder why so many look like ass? First conference I went to, I was stunned at the physiques - fat stomachs and all. If one knows so much, why then do they look so bad? Of course, being a moron who knows nothing but is 250lbs shredded is uncool also. A blend of the two I think is best. Like realistically Joe - you have the papers and all that yes, but your physique and contest pics from over the years must add to your credibilty in your clients eyes and assist in your success.
