Obama smoked crack in college and he is the dem nominee, if he can get to where he is with stuff like that in his past and his pastor problems, then people really do want a change, and John does not offer that.

Stay Tuned.

There will be plenty of October surprises, but they will have zero impact on what the outcome would've been.

I don't see what could be bad about her. The only thing that would make Obama look bad is if he is connected with Goodrum. ;D

Gayer than voting based on race.

she has a penis? :o

Gayer than voting based on race.
a half black guy is better than a woman as president! :D

I coudl care less about their race, their sex lives, or their religion.
What will they do to fix the sagging dollar? To stop spiking gas prices? Which one will negotiate a peace with iran, and who will bomb them (resulting in persian gulf getting closed, and gas prices here shooting to $15 a gallon in less than a month)?
I want to know which man will change the bad direction we're heading in. So far, the only difference between mccain and bush, according to mccain's own campaign, is how he'd handle katrina and n. korea. I'm a little uncomfortable with mccain keeping the war and economy the same - even though he is more experienced and less of a question mark.

awesome! i woulda loved to have been a fly on the wall when billary heard the news

That's foolish. Religious people are gullible (if they really are religious, which many politicians aren't but have to claim to be)... and different types of people have different agendas. I.E. George Bush is a spoiled rich guy who's agenda is to impress/help the high class that he belongs to.

like voting for mccain

He better not give her the VP spot, its a tactical move by Hillary, hope he does not fall into the trap

That would be a fruity ass move.

Dude, he's got other problem besides his pastor, that was just the tip of the ice burg. This guy is more of a patholgical lier than Hillary. I NEVER thought I would say this, but Hillary IS the better candidate.

Actually Bush was a religious zealot. He admits he asked God if he should invade Iraq - but he never asked his Sec of Defense Rumsfeld.
Since the beginning of time, wars have been fought for two reasons - treasure and religion. Iraq is both. They paint it with things like WMD, but it's about controlling their oil and converting their religion. Just like every war before it.

No one is perfect. McCain called his wife a c-u-n-t in front of a room full of reporters.
We're picking between the lesser of two evils, in this election. No great choices, only 'decent' ones.

Really?? So you are voting for Obama even after you said you wouldn't? Please provide the link where he called his wife that.
Besides, I can come up with about 50 lies that Obama has told. If thats all you can come up with for McCain..well then that's fine.

Dude, take a valium, I didn't say I was voting for Obama. I pointed out that both candidates are weak. You cannot deny it. McCain is old, been called a lib by his own party, flirted with Kerry in 2004, called his wife a trollup and a c-nt, wants to war with Iran, wants to keep Bush tax policy, cheated on first wife, will kill the dollar, etc etc. No real change there. Bottom line: He flipflops positions when it's convenient.
Obama is a walking mess too. big question mark, some bad comments coming from his wife in AM, globalist, inexperienced, etc etc. Change, but what kind, we don't know. Bottom line: He tells us what we want to hear.
I'm not happy with the options, dude. That's what I'm saying.

You said Obama was the lesser of the two evils. Are you suggesting you're voting for the greater evil?

So? You're telling me he didn't respect women at age 55, but he does at 71?

What does that have to do with TODAY?
-

I didn't say which one was the lesser. I don't know. We'll know when we see them in the primaries. Read what I wrote. Where did I say "Obama was the lesser of the two evils."?

If I saw a 55-year old man calling his wife a 'C-U-N-T' in the grocery line, I'd be completely and utterly disgusted.
It's hard to hold my nose and vote for someone who I believe doesn't have the decency and respect we deserve in our president.
You see, if a man will treat his WIFE with no fvcking respect, he's going to treat 300 million STRANGERS with no fvcking respect.
-
Also, many people have a small problem with all this flipflopping.
Count the flip-flops here:

and at the same time if a person thinks of themselves black first and then american is he going to represent everyone equally?
-
and at the same time if a person thinks of themselves black first and then american is he going to represent everyone equally?
Nope. Which is why I'm not crazy about either guy. Libertarian is looking better and better lol...
We have to choose between a guy who respects nobody, and a guy who may not reperesent us equally. :(
-

Maybe his wife is a bitch? ::)

Hillary wants to be Veep now, in the hopes that someone will pull a James Earl Ray on him or something. That bitch just doesn't give up.

you woud take one word a man said from 18 years ago, and say thats enough to say hes unfit for duty? wow your dumb
-
wow your dumb
That's some seriously sexy irony!
-
I wouldn't be suprised if he gets assasinated
-
i have thought about this
looked at the candidates
taken into account everybodys different reality tunnels
what everyone oculd possibly think
all different kinds of views
and i must say
i honestly believe
anyone who actually takes time t think this election through and actually listen to what the candidates have to say
anyone who does not vote for obama
who is informed
anyone who does not vote for obama who is not misinformed or ignorant of the facts of the candidates
must be fueled by either a concious, or unconious, racism of some kind
:)
-
I will not be voting for Obama, and it has nothing to do with his race.
-
of course it doesnt. ;D
if it was concious racism why would you admit it? if its unconcious you wouldnt know it !!
trust me you dont vote for him thats why...

I've never voted for a Democrat in my life. So if I don't vote for one this year I'm a racist? Yeah, that makes sense. ::)
-
if someone doesnt vote obama its because of race
not saying its cuz they hate black people
but because maybe they dont think he is suited for president they are not ready to have a black leader or maybe they just think that a blac dude wouldnt be a successful world leader or maybe that hell get asssassinated
whatever the reason
its because of race
because a rational infomred person voting basedon whose the better candidate for president is ggoing to vote for obama hands down
-

i made an exception for you...go back and look...i sai d"INFORMED" AND NOT IGNORANT
VOTING BASED ON PARTY LINES STRAIGHT PARTY TICKET PARTISAN BULLSHIT = UNINFORMED AND IGNORANT
fucking caps locks and spelling erros
not gonna fix em
-
I bet the redneck racists are flipping out..haha
-
No, actually it's not. The republican party platform better serves my personal economic interests. I'm a very informed voter who votes in his own interest as any rational person would.
point taken
thats not rational voting based on whose the better candidate for president
thats voting with your own personal wallet
so youi pay no taxes, but you make no money ::) rather make alot of money and pay a little taxes?
-
so all white people, (who are the vast majority of the candidates) that dont vote for obama are racists?
-

not racists, honkies.

So? You're telling me he didn't respect women at age 55, but he does at 71?
who does?!
-
Guys, that narrative has already been established. Obama carries the black vote by extraordinary margins, but those black people vote for him because they think he is the better candidate? He received 92% of the black vote in Philly because he is black! This whole game some of you try to play is worthless if you do not admit that he will receive a race based vote, one that he has already been receiving. The media has already positioned the Dem Primary as such: Those who vote for Hillary are racist and those that vote for Obama are not. Even if blacks overwhelmingly vote for him everywhere....don't worry, it's not based on race.... ::)
The media will now portray it to be so in the General Election, you will see articles in Newsweek and Time with Barack in some angelic pose and "BARACK OBAMA AND RACE: IS AMERICA READY?" Liberal pundits, on their cable and print mouthpieces will hammer it home. McCain will have trouble overcoming this, people will vote for Obama like this in no specific order: He is the same race as them, they want to seem hip and progressive, they are white and don't want to seem like racists...you get the point. This race is based on race. Lets not all be naive.
-
Obama smoked crack. McCain dropped napalm on sleeping children.
They're both cool.

What's to overcome?
There are more Whites than anything else in America, period. McCain doesn't have to overcome anything. He just has to keep his mouth shut, keep distancing himself from Bush, and waltz to victory in November.
What you will see is polls saying that Obama is leading in areas that he will eventually lose by double digits. Why? Because white people lie to pollsters for the reasons you outlined...not wanting to be seen as racist solely because they are registered Democrats who have no plans to vote for Obama in November.
Yes, there are Blacks supporting Obama because he is black. But there are also Blacks - just as there are Whites - supporting him because he is NOT a Clinton (or a Bush).
I supported him in the primaries, because I could not live with the possibility of Hillary becoming President. But when November comes, I will vote my conscience and my wallet and as his platform stands right now, I do not feel he has the best interests of my wallet in mind.

Good point Tre, I forgot about the "Bill Bradley Effect". I think the Reagan Democrats will side with McCain and that will be that come November.

Now that Obama has been named the Democratic nominee I'm gonna have to ask all American blacks to hand in their race cards.....this nomination has invalidated them.

I've never pulled the race card. If you get rid of the racist rednecks, well get rid of them....deal? ;D

CATHOLIC PRIESTS RAPE LITTLE BOYS
Good thing I'm not Catholic :)
-
candidizzle, your not making sense.
The most important aspect of picking a president is their platform and agenda. Its not just chosing to protect your wallet (although that is part of it), its about how much control the government should have on our lives, how much it takes from us and to whom it gives those resources.
