just curious: does anyone have an educated guess of how much the gladiators are paid each episode or the season?
i'm guessing maybe around anywhere between 15 to 25 thousand per episode? which would be consistent for average actors (not stars) on an average ( not highly rated) tv show.

$25K per EPISODE-are you seriuous???????
They may be getting $5K+ per episode, with a 20 episode season that would be $100K per year.
75% of actors make less than $5K per year.
95% make less than $50K per year.
So at $100K per year they would be in the top 5% in Hollywood-and they are NOT in the top 5%-so maybe that number is even too high.

Let's put it this way - at $100,000 for the prize, the winners of last 'season' earned more than the Gladiators did in a fraction of the time.
I'm not sure what the numbers are like this season.

You are WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY off. I bet they aren't getting much more than the SAG weekly minimum which must be around $1600 a week now or so.

the cast of friends got a million for each episode the final season
FUCK like joey was a good actor...?
-
This is what someone told me, so it may be just a rumor
$2,000 per episode if you are on the set and on television
$1,000 per episode if you are not working but still a Gladiator
$ 500 per promotional apperance
$ 250 per day training
Plus expenses such as housing, airlines, meals, etc.
Don't assume it is a huge amount.

They may be under contract for the season but that would put the studio in a bind if they got hurt they would still be getting paid while the then have to pay a replacement too. Not sure how that works nowadays. But, they may be under contract for the whole season. Maybe $3000 to $5000 an episode is viable. They also get appearance fees for things they do outside the show i conjunction with the show. Just like the Dallas Cowboy cheerleaders (or any) they only get like $75 bucks a game but they make extra with appearances and merchindising.

But that show also brought in millions and millions of dollars in advertising revenue and network affiliations.

Is Tanja Johnson still on the show?

I'll go with those numbers.
Give me a few days and I'll see if I can pin down the exact numbers.

Yeah, that sounds like an accurate guess.

Well you have to realize none of these guys are a big name in any way. The network knows they could find a million others more qualified to work for the SAG minimum and the opportunity to be o the show. I wouldn't be surprised if this show is the first thing they have ever done in front of the camera. Isn't this show done in one day. Are their rehearsals for each show. Not sure how much they are working each week.
And another thing is that they shoot all of the shows in just a couple weeks. If there are 20 shows they do not take 20 weeks to shoot them. In addition, doesn't this show qualify for a reality show. They are not known for spending a ton of money especially in the first season. Maybe a few do like Survivior and a couple others. The set of Amercian Gladiators probably took most of the budget

I forgot about Mike O Hearn. I can bet he is making more than the others just because he is a returning player with experience.
-
Mike O' Hearn is doing fine. I feel another 'supplement' contract coming on...
