Why, I do thank you...very nice of you to say.
I have a neurological condition that makes my limbs swell up and become most painful....it can be beaten, but the solution is different with each time I am afflicted.
Just have to have docs figure it out...then I can get back to life...everything is in disarray since December!

Yes...there has been attenuation.
I have to take increasing amounts to get relief....but I don't want my cognition affected...to me, nothing is worse than inability to think straight!

This is what it looked like when I had it in my leg about 18 years ago.
Today, my upper right limb...from shoulder to fingertips, is encumbered by profuse swelling and pain.
I really don't know what to do.

shit and I thought I had it bad with the gout. I had an attack hit me yesterday at the end of my shoulder workout in my hands...today even typing hurts. I cant make a fist with my right hand.
I can't imagine what kind of pain you must have with your entire arm swelled up like that.

You should be on some colchicine and/or probenicid
Everyone's pain is different...I'd never compare mine with yours
The swelling bothers me the most...pain comes from the swelling...but I get meds for the pain, thus, right now it is mostly dysfunctiuon or lack of function

i take colchicine. I got it for the first time year before last in my big toe. I woke up and thought I must have kicked the wall and broke my toe. It hurt so bad I drove myself to the hospital and couldn't get out of my car in the parking lot. It hurts so bad. The day the doctor immediatley looked at it and said gout. Luckily I didn't have to him stick the needle in the joint to pull out fluid. He gave me colchicine and indomethcin and it was fine the next morning. So I keep that stuff near me always. Gout hurts so bad and it was just in my toe.
