I find many guys who juice will "compete" to give their drug usage a greater purpose than what it is, drug abuse, nothing more. I'd rather see someone just juice to see how far they can take their own physique, but doing it for some 2 cent trophy, I find that even more sad.
Keep in mind, the reason why most don't train naturally, is because most can't do much in a gym...that's just a fact. Many have piss poor genetics and steroids are almost a consolation prize for that, or just poor work ethic.
This doesn't encompass EVERY case of drug use, but the vast majority of clowns out there.

If youre going to compete to pay $$ to belong to a federation, to pay to enter each class you'll be competing,to pay for traveling and hotel, to pay for the trainer(oiler) that will be with you backstage to pay in order to get your own photos taken while you were on stage, so you can get in return :
1- A Froot loops crystal cereal bowl
2- a beautiful "Kawabonga" plastic Sword
3-a plastic bodybuilder figurine "trophy".
Youre better of juicing up for the sake of feeding your ego.
