What would happen to sports?
Would NFL players shrink and get slow? Would NBA players get hurt all the time? Would the top MLB playrs start averaging 20 HRs per year? Would the Mr O look like a local NPC show?
People talk about the need to ban them, but I think a lot of sports would become very boring without them

Imagine all the people....living in harmony....

I think that because they are so widespread, testing may as well stop and people should be more open about it. Or, like in powerlifting, have tested and untested feds.
Have there been many cases in the NBA?
-
I don't think the NBA would change very much, to tell you the truth. The NFL as well as the MLB would change drastically, in my opinion, moreso than all the other Sports.
-
The NFL would take the biggest hit because NFL players are clearly more dependent on juice than all of the other athletes.
Baseball would take a hit too.
The NBA would be okay.

Yeh, I thought the NBA was known for being really clean?

I think it's cleaner than the other two.

NBA is a lot cleaner. Guys use it for recovery. It's weed that 70%+ of the NBA uses.

Yeah.
I think the weed also serves its purpose. NBA players probably deal with a lot of joint pain, which weed is helpful in treating.

lol. Yeh, wasn't there a story about Carmello having a meltdown when some tv show was shot in his house as a surprise. Then not long afterwards he was caught with weed, thus explaining his meltdown. Or am I remembering wrong?

it would be the end of ORGANIZED bodybuilding....
no more HUGE bombs being hit over the GREEN MONSTER
no more 280lb linebackers with abs in the NFL
...oh and brad pitt would shrink back to "pretty boy" size, with the complete abolition of movies like "300"
-
If there were no more steriods in sports, it would begin a new Era In Doping
1. Blood doping/ Blood transfusions/ IGF, MGF and all those fancy peptides....
It's not that athletes aren't doing these things right now anyway.

There were 30 to 60 years of playing baseball, football and basketball without steroids. Have you ever seen the footage from back then. They players were real and the games meant something. Are you starting to post threads just to post.

ya, and Babe Ruth used Brandy as a performance enhancer...there have been Dopers since the beginning of time in sports..Just look at the Tour De France,

Doping is a part of the spirit of Le Tour. Since it began in 1903, riders have used drugs to cope with the ordeal, resorting to alcohol, caffeine, cocaine, amphetamines, steroids, growth hormone, EPO and blood doping. But all sports face the drug problem. The enormous rewards for the winner, the effectiveness of the drugs and the low rate of testing all create a cheating 'game' that has proved irresistible to some athletes.
Drugs such as EPO and growth hormone are natural chemicals in the body and are hard to detect. And the task will get tougher still. Gene doping, for example, will be virtually impossible to detect. This is a technique which allows the introduction of genes into an athlete's own genetic material, or DNA, to improve muscular strength or endurance.

if there was no juice.....I wonder who the Mr. O would be?
DaddyWaddy?
-
yeah
-
Most the the top guys would still be top players, the juice only makes them a little much better, Jose Canseco still would be an amazing ball player and no your local baseball star couldn't come close. The pro sports players are gifted beyond belief and the roids just make them a little better. Now a world without steroids would be harmony and a lot less killing etc, hopefully this will happen soon next president or hopefully Bush will do something about this devilish drug.

Come on bro, it ain't the steroids that cause this problem...it's all the greed and money...it's the invention of the sports agent. I know you know this.
-
True...just like soccer.

Half of the dutch soccer team is busted allready. I don't understand why they make stupid mistakes when they have all the money and knowledge avalible to cheat the tests.
-
i played sub 18 national team! and what some of the guys did was go talk to the coach, and when you go get the urine test, someone goes with you, you pee on the little jar and then give it to the nurse, but before they switch the jar and they give out the clean urine for the test...

Haha, yes, and Stark's post count would drop by half.

I think you have mistaken Maldini for Fabio Carnavaro his Italian international Team mate..There was a video circulating that showed carnavaro Pinning himself with an injectable Creatine..
