Title: Would drug free sports catch the publics attention?
Post by: The Master on June 08, 2008, 08:26:24 AM
Debussey would never bother to see most drug infested sports if they were drug free. 100 meter sprint, the NFL, bodybuilding, powerlifting and such would be boring as hell if the athletes were drug free.

Viewers wants to see freaks and freak performance, not drug free performance, especially when that drug free performance becomes much worse than previous WR's and such.

The price of the hypocrisy drugs create = a small prize for seeing the freakish performances. Even the female athletes in sports like sprint should be drugged up.

I agree with you.

Most drug free sports = boring

I do think tennis can be decent without drugs though. Maria Sharapova = beautiful and healthy athlete that isn't on drugs. Roger Federer also looks like he's drug free and is the best in the world. Two good examples right there.

So you're saying if she took the right drugs she'd be hot and curling would be entertaining.

The doublemint gum ad would be close behind.
