Post by: Hugo Chavez on June 10, 2008, 10:32:56 PM
IF HE HAD SOUGHT TO INVADE COUNTRIES AND LIBERATE THEM FROM THE METRIC SYSTEM :)

Fucking asshole metric pricks... 2000 times worse than a suicide bomber.  You fuckers make my life hell.

hahaha

Metric is more precise.

I think the states is the only country that uses imperial. In 25 years the whole world will be metric.

What's not precise about fractions ???  Is not 1/3 exactly that and 1/8 1/16 1/32 1/64 1/128 and almost nobody has to deal past 1/128th.  That type of uber precision is for scientists in labs.  The rest of us 99 percent don't have to get that freaking close.  I'm fracking pissed.  I can't count the times I've been going along with a project and had something get fucked up because some #%%@^^ up and anonymously inserted a metric on me ::)  This time I wouldn't have expected it.  a fucking motor shaft ::)  Look, I just say if you're going to sell the shit in America, make it right.

Neither matters to me, they are equally easy.  If they're going to go all metric, the stupid fuckers should have done it by now. They said it would be so by now... I am cursed with a really good long term memory.  The asswipes also told us we would be vacationing in space and have I-Robot running around the house cleaning shit up >:(

actually I had my hopes up for I sexbot :)  Safest way to have a threesome, but the fuckers have failed me >:(

LOL, I didn't know that... I figured we were the only hold out...  Nice to know we have something in common with Liberia and Burma :D

I'm on lecture 2 btw.

starting 4 but with a few others watched before I figured out they were all there.  Wait till you get to the Kelvin water dropper, KICK ASS!!!  What do you think so far?  I think the guy is awesome.  The sweet part is you end up understanding it even if you don't understand every bit of the quantification of it.  and i have a feeling that by the end, the missed points will easily be quantifiable :D  This guy is truly the rare teacher/professor that people talk about.  I'm having a wonderful time with the course so far.

I hear ya. I recently did my IFT certification, and they had me figuring out how many gallons to treat how many litres

I was so pissed! They trained me in gallons, but I'm dealing with these guys up here in litres, and it's annoying!
So I end up having to multiply everything by 3.785. pain in the tush.
