-
5'9, 275, 495 extremely easy single. 455 for a cake double, and 315 for 23. dude's a record holder in the ADAU.
-
Glenn Chabot one night in the gym-650 for a triple,no shirt.
-
I've seen a few of the biggest guys put up 495 for a few reps, but it's rare.

there's a name i ain't seen in a while. what's he been up to? the dude had the easiest 675 single i'd ever seen, then he just kinda vanished.
-
He did 722 at the Arnold Classic one year.........2001 I beleive.
I moved out of Mass. to upstate Ny and haven`t seen Glen in a while.
From what I hear from buddies of mine back home,he`s a lot smaller and not training.
When I first saw him without a shirt,he weighed 315 with abs!!

That`s our old gym in Springfield Mass. in the video!

i saw ken brownfield bench 675 in the wabdl he is a 300 pound guy but walks on metal stilts so he used very little or not any leg power. i also seen a 220 pound guy press a 600 pound bench with a shirt. the man was huge and massive.
i also saw a woman in the 181 pound class press 315.
-
A 6'4" guy benching 225 - his arms were bigger than his torso ;D
-
ive seen 5 plates for 4 good reps,..... in a tiny comunity centre gym, the song 'the drugs dont work' by the verve was on the radio just after he done it, the big fucker shouts out,,,, they fuckn well do !!!!
-
I spotted a guy at the K with 535 once. A couple other guys in there hit 495 for 2-3 reps. Those are the biggest I've seen in person.
The guy that does the 535 bench I also spotted on a 745 squat, his dead is in the 600's.
-
i once saw a guy lifting a stone and moving it a good 30 feet, the stone must have been at least 500 pounds :o :o :o :o
-
i saw a dude hit 495 for a double. he was probably 5'10, 290. Bounced it so hard on his chest that i thought i heard a rib pop.
-
In my High school PE class a kid benched 465, he was only like 17 or 18
i dont know his other lifts but I was maxing on squat with 365 on the bar and just to fuck with me he said "wait, let me make sure its balanced." and then he turned out five reps with out an ounce of effort. it looked like he was using the 45lbs bar. then he racked it and said, "yeah, thats about right"
He never played any sports but the coaches would follow him around all day trying to get him to play football or wrestle
-
Saw a guy at the local golds gym he was about 5'10 maybe 220lbs put up 675 for 5
It was fuckin awesome

I watched Tiny press 900 in a single ply shirt.

a couple years ago a samoan kid used to come into where I work out (pretty sure he played ball @ SDSU) and used to rattle off 5 or 6 piston like reps with 495 with what seemed like little effort....
I'm guessing he was somewhere between 240-260
-
325kg bench
-
Yeah mcgoo i forgot to put that in there before i hit reply,
But still man it was freakin awesome to see in person
-
I was training in another gym about two weeks ago and watched a guy put up 400lbs on close-grip benches for 10 easy reps - probably the single most impressive thing I've seen in a gym ever. Hard to say how much he weighed (he wasn't fat) but he was about 6'4 which with the long arms made it all the more impressive.
-
560 for an easy single by josh bryant not long after having elbow surgery.

well hell yeah dude, it's 675. i asked just because, well, it's getbig and you never know who's gonna make something up. and let me say, REPS in a shirt is just awful. even a triple with relatively easy weight made me wanna pass out.
also, yesterday i spotted a dude hitting 475 for a pretty damn slow and controlled rep after hitting 315x12 and 405x8 as easy warmups. thumbless grip was a bit dumb, but hey.

Where I live I've never seen anyone go as heavy as the rest ot the posters.
tops I've seen is 455lb for 1.
-
only one that has ever stood out was about 5-6 yrs ago while I was with Golds in jax,fl
this decent homie was i'd say about 5'8 200 put up 495 5 or 6 times slow rep complete control no spot. I gave him the head nod after he racked that sh*t. ;)

All the big lifts i've seen were either at my old power lifting gym or in a competition.
At the local LA fitness and 24 hour gyms you will be lucky to see 405+ benches.
Anytime i go over 405 on bench at my local LA fitness, half the gym watches like it's some unreal amount of weight...lol
