It's a scam.  In order to extract hydrogen from water you need energy input.  They fail to provide any explaination of how they are miraculously splitting water molecules with no external energy being introduced into the process.

Idiot.

Evaporation changes water molecules from their liquid to their gaseous form, it does not spilt them into their component elements hydrogen and oxygen.

Do they no longer require basic science classes in our schools anymore?  These days it seems everyone under the age of 25 is dumb as dirt.

It requires large amounts of land and water but photosynthesis takes care of the rest. I have read about alternate ways to grow it that do not require as much water. Talk as been made about growing it along the Gulf Coast as well. It's exciting, not the 'magic bullet' but just another piece of the pie.

New ways to make ethanol have already been invested in and are far along in the testing phase. Cellulosic ethanol made from organic material and broken down via lab recreated bacteria is also something cool to follow.

MattC- That water car is promising. All you have to do is just go outside and see the awesome amount of renewable energy that is wasted.
