Not addicted but it is my preferred method of entertainment over TV.

My attention span is zero so the internet works great. I just keep moving on. Like flipping channels on a TV I guess.

Most likely ;D
I watch next to no tv now.

TV sucks for the most part anyway, and I don't think that's any different in Australia. I only watch a bit of sports and some documentaries. Even an occasional movie from time to time, everything else is bullshit entertainment for the masses.
-
TV's shite and depending what exactly you do with your time on the internet can have a great benefit.
Definetly expands your awareness about real life scenarios happening in the world
-
Whos not?
-
I'd much rather be addicted to the "Internet" than TV.

There are five channels. Six if you count the local "access" station. :-\

I used to be but not anymore. I refuse to let my mind atrophy that way. You have to have self discipline.

ignorance is bliss, eh Czechy? ;D

Addicted?
When there was a such thing as the golden-age of the internet, that would be very true.
This subject reminds me of the one from two or three years ago which dealt with that idea about the internet's golden-age of entertainment and info.
This very website is surprisingly one of a small number that still is very much worth wasting time online typing away with my finger tips on a computer screen with the letters of a keyboard since these types of discussions on the net are more valuable than spending time watching a channel on the idiot box television.
-
i have fought my internet addiction successfully with buying a Wii.
The internet has everything though, where else do you have first class entertainment next to news next to tons of great porn?
If you could download food from the internet, i would never log off anymore. ;D
