Title: The Ultimate Stealth Yacht...Wallypower 118
Post by: Parker on June 19, 2008, 09:29:31 PM
This thing is powered by two Chinook Helicopter engines. It's ultramodern and has that sleek stealth look.  Drool...

I saw The Island; that's a nice boat, but a bit too radical for me.  I'd go for a Sunseeker 90' yacht.  They have photos and vids of their entire line of yachts here http://www.sunseeker.com/

If you want a performance boat check out their Predator 92.  A boat much bigger than 90' is too big for me.  I don't want to have to employ a crew to handle/manage it.

Boating is the best part about living in Florida!

How often would you go full throttle with an engine like that?  My guess is not very often.  :-\

That boat looks a little spooky to me.

Here's a shot of my friend Danny's boat. I've never been on it yet, ...but I look forward to it.

No problem noworries. It's not good to worry about or want things you can never have. That only leads to frustration

We wouldn't want you to have to change your name to worrywart now would we?  :D.

You see the whole big yacht model sucks because, it because top-heavy, like a cruise ship. The Wallypower are long and use that to an advantage at sea. Also, they use carbon fiber to help keep the weight down, even the sailboats are almost racing sailboats, and they use the same materials. I have never really been into boats, and I'm from Annapolis!

I was never much into them myself until I moved to California. A few trips out to Catalina and I was hooked.
...then living right on Lake Ontario... well, let's just say on the right day, it can be heaven. Unlesss you get seasick  :-X

That boat don't look like a private yacht.  It looks a lot like a older version of the kind of boats Navatek has in Hawaii.  The smaller yacht in the middle is one I stayed on.  It is called Candida and was made originally for Henry Ford back in the 30's.
