We talk about it on the board but perhaps some still don't understand how badly inflation eats away at our savings. Here ya go.

Inflation only eats at your savings if you keep your money under mattress  ::)  What would be more useful would be an explanation of differences between nominal and real interest rates (or other values) as that is something I expect that people don't really consider or understand when making investment decisions.
